In my opinion it just blew.

Take away Nintendo's presentations and everything pretty much was rehashed from last year. Halo 2's presentation seemed rushed, Half - Life 2 is nothing new and exciting, Doom 3 is, what 2 years in ending developement now? Nothing new suprised me, other than the Zelda video. I wasen't big on the PSP at all, and most PC games were old.

What's your take on it after the dust has cleared?

Do you mean that you even didn't like Blizzard's presentation of StarCraft: Ghost?! C'mon! I haven't been at that E3, but I wish I had...But I saw it on their web-site (WarCraft too, seemed interesting, but it's especially StarCraft I am interested in); awsome new Screenshots and art work!

True, Ghost was nice, but there was no shock value, nothing new or unexpecting at all. Last year, Halo 2, Half - Life 2 blew away people. This year? nothing really. I expected Ghost, and truthfully I am not all gun ho on those types of games (Syphon Filter, Pandora Tomorrow ect.)

Ghost indeed was nice, but nothing shocking or new for me to sink my teeth into.

Wow... That's a first to hear... What about new and upcoming games. Are there any good ones coming out, or is everyone focusing on their main mascots, like Halo, Half-Life, Zelda, and such? Usually, there are good 3rd party booths... I haven't been there personally, but I'd love to go sometime... Maybe next year... o.O

Tell me about Doom 3. Did you mean it was unimpressive for the amount of time they put into it?

I was impressed with the Nintendo Lineup and the XBOX lineup. They had stuff that was innovative, surprising and cool. PS2 on the other hand offered sequals and some new stuff. Nothing worth noting besides the new GTA game.

Halo 2 was ok this year. All it showed was multiplayer, but in that we saw the AWESOME graphics, cool gameplay, new weapons, realistic damage (no more invincible warthogs), and a very cool multiplayer level called Zanzabar.

So, Nintendo stood out in E3 this year? :) Makes me very happy.

What was in Nintendo's lineup?

Doom 3 does look fantastic, the flashlight is highly used in the game, it's so far a slower paced game than most FPS. Think a bit more of system shock 2 speed, it's really great because the game builds atmosphere, and for a Scary game, that might be what's missing right now. I was uninpressed at how in General, E3 did not have much new. E3 is really the end all be all of video game entertainment shows, and most of the games presented we've seen the year before *at least the good ones that are worth mentioning*

The biggy was the new Zelda, but the new DS wasen't all that bad, the games coming out look innovative, like the Donkey Kong Game. The Metroid 2 game was shown at a Nintendo announcement, along with some other games too, all look great.

Sega built lots of antipation of a "Big Announcement" were they entering the console race again? Partering with another console company? Nope. They were making the matrix online, which was the most boring announcement really.

madman5, I live in Canada buddy, didn't go to E3 here :P I've just allways liked reading into E3 and found this year to be lacking highly compared to last year.
