Somehow Starcraft's nasty lady is losing to a nobody from the Final Fantasy series in a character battle poll. Everyone do your duty and vote for Kerrigan on GameFAQs main page!

I voted, but it's not like it's gonna help. first of all the vote difference is like, 10K votes. even IF whe wins (which she won't) she'll face Zelda. If she won't beat some dumb FF dude, Zelda is more than a match.

Actually I'd have to say just the opposite. True you can't mass kerrigans but her attack is enough to take out a firebat with one shot. (without upgrades) And she's got 400HP and I don't remember how much armor. And she's ranked as a "small" units thus she doesn't get hurt as bad by things like tanks. The only cons are she's a bit slow and attacks slow.

Her spells also include a little bit of everything.
Consume (Zerg)
Cloack (Terran)
Ensnare (Zerg)
Psi Storm (Protoss)
Although not ideal for taking on Metal, shes good at chopping down platoons of infantry to there knees.
She cant defend against air, but she can ensnare wraiths and then cloak.
Plus she is also the cause of the deaths of thousands of Protoss warriors and Terran troops.
Now i dont see any Protoss Hero that is as bitchy, and has as high of a kill rank as she does.
Plus why doesnt she call in a dozen mutas on the stuipd FF character and it would be a win?

Massing is overrated, and unfortunetely is what hurts the reputation of sc players. =(
I can handle a indefinate number of units with a small group, by knowing unit counters and prepairing for it lol
massing air is the most insanely stupid thing to do against me. :D

AzN Kerrigan can attack air units. She has psi storm, remember?
Still Kerrigan has an awesome assortment of weapons given that she's only one unit in the game. The only thing that I think could face her in battle would be a Battlecruiser (and it would have to have a few upgrades and to have fired it's Yamato cannon first!). Sure an Archon or a Siege Tank in siege mode could punish her with a few volleys before she could do either in, but a Battlecruiser has so many hit points that I'm predicting that Kerrigan would run out of psi storm energy before she could destroy it. If only it were possible to use a Dark Archon on Kerrigan then instead of fighting her you could unleash her fury upon your enemies!
On the subject of massing: if anyone of you guys ever sets out for a career in the military I think you'd learn that it's not cool to throw away soldiers like they're piss in the wind. At the very least if you try to think of units as valuable they're sure to last you longer.

Nope. She does 50 damage anda fbat has 50 (+1 armor.) 49 damage ftw.

Kerrigan is extremely effective in games such as team micro and stuff.
She has storm, ensare, consume, and cloak. These are a gamut of EXTREMELY useful spells.
Consume helps with energu consumption. Just burrow zerglings everywhere and use that for energy.
Ensnare slows units and reveals cloaked units (obs.)
Psi fuckowns infantry. And obs...hint hint. It also just deals major damage to other things.
Cloak is so fuck useful. Especially if you can get rid of obs with combo ensnare/psi

A zerg queen could take on Kerrigan easily. All it takes is one spawn broodling.

I dont think you can spawn on a hero. Plus shes uses here little voodoo mojo to control the queen.
She can defend herself from Air attacks, but if the opposite player micros, the psi storm would be somewhat useless. However BC's are too slow to move away from a strom, so a BC would take more than necessary damage. Plus its better to evade than to attack.

True a Queen could use "spawn broodling" on Kerrigan, but if Kerrigan was smart she would just cloak and walk away (unless that Queen had an Overloard nearby to detect her). Kerrigan is the Queen of the Zerg so that means she's the Queen of Queens (get it?). Kerrigan has developed her powers so well she would just use mind control on a Queen and make it her ally instead of her enemy. Why do some people keep forgetting that Kerrigan has psi-storm? True this attack is most effective against slow-moving units it can also be effective against fast-moving units if they're hit with it multiple times or if that unit/s is standing perfectly still (as with a Siege Tank in Siege Mode). Any unit that would go up against Kerrigan should do it with lots of back-up. Attacking Kerrigan one-by-one with units is like those semi-capable guys in Kung-Fu movies who think they can beat Bruce Lee in hand-to-hand combat.
