Downgrade?

I'm not sure if there's a thread on this(as i've never been here :p)..But..I've recently gotten into diablo 2 agian..but..i need to downgrade for a mod..Is there a program or easy way without uninstallin/reinstalling?

I've heard this is how you do it, but i've never tried it

You need to replace your d2game.dll file with one from a copy of the game that is at the patch you desire. Keep your current d2game.dll somewhere safe. When you have the "older" d2game.dll the game will have the patch you want. When you want to go back to the original patch your game was, swap out the patch X d2game.dll with the current patch d2games.dll
