and the Marduks Revenge
but is told from the POV of the missing crew of the Robert E Lee( as
mentioned in the other thread)

Tiamat is the Tiamat mentioned in ancient Earth legends.A princess who's
dad was the Emperor of the Assyrian Empire,a space faring empire of many
planets and stars
When the Empire fell into a interstellar civil war,Tiamat,a genetic freak,joined
the bad guys because thats what all the other freaks of nature had joined
Her brother in Law :Marduk,was the perfect hominid.He tracked her and the defeated
Army of Monsters to Earth,where he slew her and many of her supporters.Before
departing Earth,the winners loaded up their spaceships with human slaves,buried
Tiamat in a royal crypt and imprisoned the surviving Army of Monsters in her tomb
Then came 1993 and Tiamats Tomb happenned to have a top secret government
institution sited above it named Area 51
Area 51 was playing around with matter/anti-matter and pretty well blew itselfs to
smithereens.Suddenly the Army of Monsters were freed,and one of them.a fiery black
scaled dragoness claimed to be the long dead Tiamat.

Nor does a 26th century civilization where every teenager is a genius at a
profession.How many of us do you think would consent to having surgery
performed on us by a 17 year old ( another version of that rpg has a
15 year old doctor) as chief doctor or board a Jumbo jet with a cockpit
crew of 14 to 16 year olds.The reality is the passengers would flee that
plane screaming.

Nope,teen doctors in space is still WTF from a logical and real world POV.
Probably a lot of us were mechanically minded in our teen years but I doubt
too many of us were playing the much riskier role of
surgeon or doctor at that age.
For some professions,age counts.Generally the riskier the consequences
of the profession,the less likelihood a teen could handle it.
As for Tiamat
Its a old assyro-sumer myth about 4000 years old known
as Bel and the Dragon
Tiamat and her husband begat the gods
the gods kill her husband
Tiamat raises a monsterous army to punish the gods
Bel slays Tiamat
Bel makes Earth from her corpse
The monsterous army is exciled to the underworld
Humanity is created to do the dirty work of the gods
BV starts off with the exciled monsterous army

Actually much of it isn't.

NASA was testing nuclear powered rocket engines in the 1960's,with hydrogen used as the propellant in the rocket engine I believe

Solar sails I believe would work,I think Edmund Scientific had some gizmo
which rotated because light photons caused the vanes to turn in a sealed
glass ball.The notions shown up on DS9 and a few sci fi books

So a solar sail and solar screw aren't that far fetched

as for time being expended when matter and anti matter meet,your guess is
as good as mine

The ships cooling system is nothing more then a series of pipes
pumps,radiators and compressors ,so assuming T behaves like heat its fairly
easy to extrapolate the technology from a book on
refrigeration and air conditioning

the fireoak maple tree is obviously bunk,but so are dilithium crystals,warp engines and transporter beams

Davids and ironclads were real enough,and divers keep finding their wrecks
The Union Army did camp around the White House at one point
and Bill C is alive and giving lectures at AIDs conferences

As for Tiamat,anyone who grasps that dragon legends were often
metaphors or twistings of real historical events would realize
that the lady is very alive and well in the real world as we speak.
