Why do I always get banned?

It seems that ever since I started playing again. I haven't been able to play ONE game!!! They always have to remake the game and then when I rejoin they ban me. Help me fix whatever the problem is! I am on comcast cable so it can't be lag and my computer is pretty fast so it can't be that. I'm not hacking or anything, just trying to play some ol' broodwars! :(

Yes, might be because they have the slower connection and they see you having red bars instead of green ones.

Maybe because they want a private game without passwords.

I really have no idea, because they ONLY thing i get banned for is my dial-up internet speed.

They think koreans are better than anyone else who plays sc for some reason...so they only wan to play against other koreans

Yea. Some Korean hosts only let other Koreans play. But Koreans arn't the only ones like that.
This happens much more to me; they ban me becouse when I start downloading a map. Usually, they don't want to wait for downloaders or they think you must be a noob at that map becouse your downloading it for the first time. For the lagging, some people, if they see a red bar on your even for a secound, they will ban you. For what ever reason, it's just a small streak that happens in public games, it will end.

i havent been able to play a SINGLE game since 14.0
i always totally lag out...this issue didt exist in 13.2

My record is 13-2 I play against my friends alot but they are the only ones who will play with me and wont ban me. Sometimes they aren't online and I want to play some pub games. Theres probably tons of better starcraft players out there but I'm not a noob.

I just haven't played in 2 years and when I used to play I used to be able to find games no problem. Now, I haven't been able to play one pub game. Any suggestions?

How do you know when its a noob game? When it says noobs only, its usually a good player looking to improve their record, or the host wont know how to mine gas.

Or, do as S_C said in the post above mine, and hang out in melee channels (op swbk is a pretty good one for people of all skill levels). They generally never ban.

You won't have to worry about a banning problem in my games, I only ban spammers, idiots, and complete and total noobs. Newbs (Remember, they are technically different, so I've heard) are welcome most of the time, but when they start showing their inner-newb by upgrading and hero spamming in an RP, I swing the ol' Ban Hammer. I only play UMS games because I've sucked at every normal game I've ever played. I go by the name of Delta-4 if you don't want to be banned......just don't suck or be a newb/noob.

It doesn't matter on which server u are...i have accounts on europe east and west and lag is the same on all.... the diffrence is TOO small to notice...

Make sure your ports are open to Starcraft if you are using a router

azn i dont really understand what you mean. you can access US east in your in the US west area, but oyu cant access east server from the west server.
