View Full Version : Help SCV Pictures needed !!!!

Hi all,

I m working on a 3d SCV from starcraft.
However i dont have really good pictures. In the original game they are about 1x1 cm. thats a little small. Does anyone have larger pictures of an SCV? they are sooo cooool!!!!

on the net i only found this cartoon image:

Yea scv pics are difficult to come by. I'll look around.

Btw that's a nice marine in your siggy. Did you make it yourself?

Thx but its not my work i found it somewhere on the net.
Marines are done by many people in 3D so i go for SCV!!!

Huh, it's nice anyways. I'll probably end up doing one too soon. (though not as detailed)

Hmm, well I only found one picture that was any good so far in my search. And the large version of it is on a site the no longer exists so sorry but I can't be of much help. I'll try looking again but I'm not finding anything.

Does anybody knows if there are scv in the movie scenes of starcraft?
i can t wathc the movies because i reinstalled sc. so i have 2 play all the campainges again to see the movies.

No, there aren't.:concern: I wish there were more I could do to help you, but I can give a tiny, tidbit of what you might call advice. Check the manual and there is a 3D rendering of an SCV, but obviously, it's probably not on the web.:cry:

I wish there were SCV renderings out there, but sadly, the little Space Construction Vehicle isn't really considered that badass when it comes to likes and dislikes of units. Even though they are the toughest of the workers, they haven't been truly acknowledged. I hope you find luck on your quest for a 3D SCV.

Note: The one in the book seems different from the one in those pics, or is that just my crappy memory again?

Edit: I found another 3D picture of an SCV, it seems to be very similar to the other 3D one posted above.\/

Looks like the cabin-thingy on top is where the pilot sits... I always got the impression the SCV's are way smaller than that... Like a big body-armor type thingy. Your picture looks more like how I've imagined the goliath.

Maybe ur right. I have really know idea what size they are.
I though in SC:Ghost they are as big as i build the SCV. maybe in original SC they are smaller.

I'm not sure what program you're using but you can get those lights to shine. Simply add a new texture (single user) to the light faces and then make it a whiteish yellow and in crease the spec and emit properties and when you render you'll have light! (Would be good for the backround you gave it)
