I use to get them when I was playin' games, then after I paintballed, and then did FTX up at basic I haven't gotten them anymore.

Yeah, I have. Usually in fast-paced games like First Person Shooters. That said, I've had adrenaline rushes playing Mines on MSN Messenger, so take it as you will.

Schwitzer, I think you are confusing an adrenaline rush with a hang over.

I have once and it was unreal, I was playing Prince of persia warrior within, and the first time you have to run away from the shadow guy[names escapes me] every thing had to be perfect otherwise, he'd catch and kill you, and It was awesome. Mainly because I did it on the first try, easily... It almost seemed surreal.

I get adrenaline rushes in games all the time. And i even agree with Switzer, ive gotten adrenaline rushes playing mines on msn, its usually at the end of a game when both people are like 2 or 3 from victory.

Ah yes... running from the Dahaka. I remember how adrenaline-pumped those bits were. Especially if you weren't sure where to go next and were desperately trying to find it before he catches you...

I used to lots, but not as often these days.

I get them rarely, but whenever they do happen, it has been while playing Halo 2 online and the score is like 49-49, so whoever kills next wins the game.

I get one every time I play FEAR. :/

Or perhaps that's just the extreme amount of tension and horror the atmosphere of the game has ;)

When i was right into WC3 TFT and was quite good, i would get adrenaline rushes and it would seem that i wasnt even playing the game, like my body knew what do to...

The only adrenaline rush I've gotten playing a game, that I can remember, was playing the last mission of the origanal Halo for the first time. I got to the ship (thus initiating the cutsceen) with like 1.25 seconds on the clock.

Hmm Unreal Turnament 2004 gave me a kick after the 200th frag..
Scary games too.

Oh jeez Halo would always get me very hyped up. I hated that last level with a vengeance. Why the heck was there a big racetrack thing on the back of a ship? I mean wtf. Sometimes I get a little hyped when playing solitaire and I'm doing pretty good, like with 50 seconds on the clock and I've got quit a few of the cards removed.

Yeah, i'll get an adrenaline rush. My nipples often grow hard when i'm doing something particularly risky too. :\

I love the last mission in the origanal Halo. Mainly because it's one of the only fps games I know of that let you zoom around in a snazzy 4x4 during the last part of the game. :P

Now that's.. just... gross. *shudders*

I think you need to change games. Usually when I'm working out pretty heavy and hitting the weights, the adrenaline rushes I get are much heavier.

But going 5-0 in a row @ CSS or winning a hero fight against someone during a close WC3 game always pretty good shot of adrenaline, regardless. CSS rushes are a lot more intense, but short-lived. Going a quick 3-0 is like ... hot sex, and going 5-0 is like getting the money shot on Spartan's exposed nipples. How did this get so dirty? I blame Spartan. And dunchy.

Probably, but I've also become a lot more laid back in my down time so I don't get them as often, but when I do, its usally something kick ass like that killtacular I talked about in the Hal 3 thread. 'sides I like the games I have right now and realistic combat games annoy me to no end.

I think you'd like CSS. It's pretty damned close. I'd recommend a no AWP / auto server because those are pretty much the only unrealistic aspect of CSS. People can strafe while scoping and still get steady aim; I'm not really sure what sniper gun those implementers were using, but there's no way in hell that you could use a scope like that. Anyway, otherwise it tends to be pretty cool in terms of realism, speed of play, and functionality.

I'm not sure what counts as an adrenaline rush, but I don't think I've had one whilst playing a game. The only thing that I can recall that i think may be an adrenaline rush was when i got this uncontrollable urge to kill my dad. Lots of doors and walls got a mighty good beating at that time.

Isn't adrenaline the fight or flight thing?
