Ladies and gentlemen! After a month of trials and errors, I have finally gotten Starcraft patch 114 to operate successfully on my computer!!! Huzzah!

My Brood WAr CD is still scratched (I need to get my burned copy back from my cousin, and see if it is operable), so I am still stuck with just the basic Starcraft CD (vanilla, I believe is the proper term), but tomorrow afternoon/evening, I will be up for my first online game!!!!

Who wants to taste the wrath of the Legion first?

Dark Mirror, all I have at the moment is Vanilla anyway (BW CD is scratched), if anyone wants to play me real quick, put in your Vanilla CD and get on B.net! I don't have a lot of time before my fishing buddies arrive, but I have a few minutes!

And yes, DM, I do have a number of training scenarios in mind, but I am going to make specific maps for it to help everyone become more efficient with the major Terran Strategies (resource management, Marine Rush, Vulture Rush, Bunker Rush, Tank Push, using multi-faceted assault forces, using heavy metal effeciently [Battlecruisers and Siege Tanks], and fully using the tactical advantage of Science Vessel capabilities). Obviously, some of these will be new for me as well, so we will pool our resources and learn together.

Veeger, I don't think I'll be the first one to tell you that that probably won't be a good idea. Get the staples of gameplay down first, and do the individual tactics later.

Oh, and BCs/Tanks are NOT considered metal. That would be vult/tank/goli... BCs are very rarely used, and only in endgame TvT for the most part...

The one thing that's holding you back from getting decent at any race matty is the fact that you won't stay with one race! Find which one you're most comfortable with and then learn as much as you can about it. Learn it's ins and outs. It's disgusting details and those little tips and tricks that you can use. Stick with one matty. (1)

Yes. I have played protoss and terran, but not at the same time. That way, your not in to a three split mindset when you are playing.

GAH!!!!!!!!! I hate it when this happens.... u see at first when i came to bnet i thought like this: If i play all the races i might learn enough from each to know their strengths and weaknesses...now i realize that i don't need to play all the races to know that... but since i played all of them this is what happens:
I play vs some1 and i lose(usually) and i start thinking that if i would've played another race i might've not lost so i switch the race...i loose again i switch etc. etc.

I have come to a decision tho... i won't play Z since with Z i just can't macro ... i can macro pretty well with toss and i can exp wiuth them too(dunno why but each time i'm T and i try to expo i lose it)...soo i guess i'll stick to P...and i hope i'll stick to this decision...

Well....although P is the least played race some ppl play toss good... like midy he can play toss... ahzz also knows a lot about toss(prolly more than me)...ahzz also gave me a good tip for PvT... Reps really help i'm gonna perfect my sair rush for PvZ...sky gave me a rep where the sair rush is executed correctly... i'm gonna play pgt games... and i'll get some PvP replays from gosugamers or pgt... I could also practice my PvP with lost once in a while...
