Drink some vinegar. A tea spoon every 2 hours. But a good vinegar, apple vinegar. Deliscious (no really)
So anyone have a solution to vinegar addiction?

It's good to know, but I don't know if anyone is willing to cook a turkey and let it get cold to find out how that works.

When I get addicted to something I always go cold turkey. It's the best way for me, I find crash courses much easier.

I say let it wear out, or sleep on it. Works for me.

...stop eating sugar?
Of course, you could also stop buying sugar. Or...stop earning money. That way you'll have no sugar to be addicted to!

Tell that to all the crack addicts in the ghettos. That's a primary reason crimes like robbery and assault occur.

Well, sugar addiction isn't physical, it's psychical. I'm stuck with it, no matter how impossible it sounds, and I'm not alone. :( And it's not fun. Everytime I get home from school I stop by at some store to buy candy.
Candy's starting to lose it's good taste.

Lol, I've never even heard of any re-habs feat help with sugar.. but.
If you don't like sugar, then dont eat it.
Simple as that.
Wait...is sugar a slang word of some other drug? Because this seems like to be a joke.

No, it's regular sugar, and it's not a joke. :(

That's the problem though, he's saying he buys candy because he feels he needs it, but it's not for the taste anymore.
I reckon, go for cold turkey, it seems odd that sugar would become addictive, but meh. If you can use your willpower and break the psychological addiction (it seems), you should be ok.
However, could it be an addiction to something else in the candy?

No, I eat any kind of candy, and soda. Some of my friends think I'm a caffeine freak, because I like Coke very much, but I can easily swap it for anything.

No problem, was just a thought.
Cold turkey, maybe sugar free stuff in the vain hope of tricking your mind/stomach?
(then again, I'd suggest cold turkey, sugar free things are probably full of crap :concern:)

That sounds... odd. XD
Well, no matter how much fat I eat, I can't seem to gain weight, only lose it. And that's starting to get scary too. But I'm starting to train to get muscles instead. :)
Are you dangerously skinny? If you can eat fatty things and LOSE weight, something may be out of whack. Worth seeing a doctor? Maybe your addiction to sugar is a side-effect, it needs the sugar to keep your metabolism going. You could have a stomach problem if your losing weight uncontrolably and, worse case (Please don't take offence, I'm only going off what I'm hearing) you could have a parasite in your stomach.

When you go in to buy candy, just buy some other snack like trail mix or something. The entire time you will think you're going to the store to buy candy, but at the last second, you must change your mind and purchase something else.

Apples and other fruit have natural surgar in them and they can provide your "fix" and the benifits that surgar provide you without some of the unhealty side effects.

If by "addicted to sugar", you mean that you have a really bad sweet tooth, just stop buying the crap food. I work at a grocery store, and I can attest to the fact that grabbing an apple or a banana works just as well (better?) than a chocolate bar.
If you're way underweight, sugar isn't really the way to gain weight. You want to eat things that have high fat, etc, but are not just crap food. I'm told that meats are the best bet, since they are healthy regardless of your weight. Probably ought to see a doctor if you haven't already.

What the hell...
Where do you people get that he is underweight?
1. You don't have to compeltly cut out surgar, our bodies still need some sugar for various functions, try eating fruits like I've already suggested, that natural sugar can provide the same benifits as the surgar in candy
2. If you ARE underweight, eat protien and foods in unsaturted fat, then go to a weight room and start lifting weights at about 60-75% of your max for that exersize and then do 3 sets of about 8-10 reps 3-5 times a week. You will build bulk that way.
3. If you are a fat ass eat foods high in carbs and some protiens and unsaturated fats, then go to a track and run at 70% of your maximum heart rate for about 30 minutes. Then once you are done with that give yourself a break and go to a weight room and lift weights at about 50% or your maxium 10-12 reps and 2-3 sets.
There. I think I've covered all the bases.

Thanks. I need to at least gain some bulk. I'm 5'4 and only 109 pounds. Ninja.

Yep, you'll need to do some cardio too, and don't start out at 5 days, do one week of 3, one week of 4 and then stick with 5 days a week...
Eh, 'least thats what I tell my clients to do when I right them a program. Oh and take about two minutes rest inbetween each set otherwise you could cause some injuries due to overwork.
I asked if he was skinny adn noticed he was said he was losing weight, I never said he was underweight.
But if I did, oops, as they say.

I AM underweight...
It's not really a sweet tooth, I just get depressed without sugar. I've compared my periods without sugar to the other periods and I'm positive it's like that.

Eh, well then refer to my post on what to do with that... However bear in mind I'm a personal trainer, not a nutritionist so I'm not 100% backin' what I suggested to eat, but I am willing to bet Kong's soul on the workout routine I suggested, if I had time I'd try and come up with some ingenius way to write you a real program, but I don't so I won't.
Kong's soul on the workout routine I suggested
A lot at stake then?
(Ambiguity ftw)
Serious bit: I still suggest you see a doctor, they'll have the advantage of being able to diagnose you face to face. I'd have it on a parasite, if your underweight and losing it, but I've not got a phD, your local GP should do.
Whatever it is, I wish you well.
