how can you give a unit to a player and let the unit still keep it's color? Is it possible?

NO. color denominates the player, therfore it must change.

Again am going to state... when you ain't sure about the answer just keep your god damn fingers away from the keyboard. Really. :P

Parasite, you can do it but for that you'll need and advanced editor (SCMDraft 2 or SF). Next all you have to do is just to follow this lil' blue rabit (http://www.warboards.org/showthread.php?t=13285). And while in there just search for the "How do I change players colors?" answered question. That and setting the player you want to give the units to into the same coulour the other one has. ;)

Yeah, but if you don't have an advanced editor you could make rescuable units :/

WTF? :o Press the "Player settings" button in SCXE or even StarEdit and you'll be able to make "rescuable units"... *Smiles* well, it's close enough - a player. :P
