View Full Version : Hypercheck Question

I put hypertriggers into my map, so all the triggers will run faster and stuff, but now all the wait triggers have ceased to work.

All the wait triggers inputed before I put in hypercheck still work, but I cannot add anymore wait triggers.

In my UMS sometimes there are conversations like:

Blah blah blah...
wait
blah blah
wait
blah blah blah blah blah
wait

and they no longer work, as well as anything else that includes a wait trigger in it. The wait triggers start and never finish, so anything after the wait doesn't happen. Help!

The Hypercheck triggers have to belong to a player who does not have any other triggers that have the Wait command.

I've played maps that have hypertriggers and wait things for a same player, because they had conversations and stuff and it used hyper triggers to remove units that go off the path instantly

Edit::: someone told me how, thanks anyhow!

'Wolf, even though now you do know how to pull it can you please post it? ;) That way, other members may easily take advantage of your knowledge and also share it with others (for future reference perhaps). ;)

And, btw, I also 'throw' ya a warm "welcome on board" vow. :)

Thanks :)

Okay, basically I had to delete the hypercheck triggers. Then I re add the wait triggers that I needed to work, then I added back the hypercheck triggers into force one, instead of All Players.

It works now, problem is whenever I need to add new wait triggers I gotta take them back out and replace them in, and I'm doing a 256x256 so I need to beta test a lot so I can't just leave them out.

But it's not too troublesome ^^

Perhaps because when I got here it was already answered (according to your own posts)?

 By any chance you've already searched for it? *Cough*Google (http://www.google.com/)*Cough*

And I say this 'cause there are sites that store maps just like the thing you're asking (amongst other things). For instance, and the most know, SC.org (http://starcraft.org/maps) and SEN (http://www.staredit.net/index.php?act=Downloads). *Hint, hint* ;)

Yah I searched there but everything is out of order and I can't find anything and can you test my map so far?

I sure can try... but lately in my life can't promise much outside the work sphere. Alas, it has become a (nasty) reality. :P

I hadn't done it for karma, that's for sure. :P *Shrugs shoulders* Anyway, if you look around I generally try to act similarly to almost everyone I come across in WB's. ;) Imho, being a nice, helpful forum is that what keeps attracting folks over n' over. *Thinks magnet*
