I have 2 used laptops. And the people who had it before had the boot sequence in the wrong order, then, they put a password on the bios, which i don't know . I Don't know if this is even possible but is there a way to remove the password? Any help or referals would be GREATLY appreciated.
On full size PCs you would need to remove the battery from the mother board to reset the password. Im uncertain if this is the same with laptops, but I would imagine so.

Actually the proper way to reset the password on a bios is to reset the bios. On full size pcs this is done by means of a 3 pin jumper. I'll look at my partstop and see what I can see about bios resets. There probably is one I'm just not sure how to make it work.

If we knew the make and model we could help you faster, many laptops use different methods to reset there bios etc.

yeah there is a jumper that you mess with to reset the bios. it should be on a laptop just like it's on a desktop mobo
basically, if you see a jumper that's connected to the bios, take it off and boot up your computer. if that doesnt work try moving it around to different spots.
I don't know much about laptop hardware but on desktops yes usually there's a jumper or sometimes a small pin-sized button you can press. Sometimes there's a default password too and you could just use that. I'd google the brand and model of the laptop with "reset bios" to see if others found a solution.

Finally after about an hour of looking i found the jumper, pulled it out and the bios pass is gone! Thanks for all the help.
