BWLauncher and PenguinPlugin

Ok, BWLauncher & PenguinPlugin (PP) are a tipe of launcher supplied with anti-hack qualities, replay features, observer mode, apm ( actions per minute ) live support. It also has a plugin for Miranda-IM which allows you to receive messages from any of the Miranda plugins ( AIM, ICQ, Skype, MSN, Yahoo, mRadio and so on ) with a simple command. It's an overall great program and now it's taking up the heat to rule out hackers, abusers, backstabbers\, spoofers and other low-players from the community. Anyone who's good with coding can register at the forums and help create the ewest addon to BWLauncher and PenguinPlugin.

Run the game through the BWlouncher, press alt+tab and see the little penguin icon in the system tray. Pretty straight forward from then on, just set the options you like.

Actually it's not always that easy. Take me for instance, I move my mouse over the penguin and he dissapears never to return untill I restart starcraft and then it happens all over again.

siegy, you can turn on apm live by typing "\apmlive on" in a game. (no "" marks). Same works for most other features. Just enter a game by yourself and familiarize youself with it.

Helps against cheaters and the APM is a nice feature.

They've already updated the thing! It runs... And here are some changes I noticed:
"Not enough * Build/gather more *" warnings are with very small font, unique in its size.
Some annoying splash skreen kinda thing in the beggining of games.
I dont know If it came with the update but it has a menu for the process priority, who the fuck needs that.

What double clicking? You launch the BWlauncher and press "Launch" button once. And then press alt+tab or winkey and read through the thread to activate APM live - ingame.

Ever since I got the b net x pack my sc music wont work. Its not a problem for gameplay but the lack of music is a bit boring.

Ol' Dirty Bastard is quite motivational for playing SC, try it. Also try ctrl+m during game and going to the sound options to see if it isnt turned down.
Bun now that i think about it, you really dont play with a CD so the game isnt reading the music files, which are stored in the physical CD, and not on the HD.

Yes you won't get music with the BW Launcher because the fake install.exe would be too large. A single .wav files of all the songs strung together (the music is in the wav format) is nearly 90 MB. Too much to dl if you ask me.

If you want music you'll have to use another way ot nocd, Daemon Tools plus a broodwar.iso and a starcraft.iso

Probably the PPlugs "install.exe" isnt as violent as those n0-cd cr4acks. And when the game requests the music files it goes over the PPlugs "install.exe" and into the CD (or drops the PPLugs install.exe and goes for the original install.exe, which finds out where is your CD and opens up the INSTALL.EXE from the CD).
It prolly sounds compicated, cos there are 3 instal.exe's.

could you please clear that up? im sorta technologically retarded >< system tray? would just alt-tabbing out of bnet and double clicking the pp icon on the desktop work? because everytime i click on the pp icon, it opens up staredit. ok heres my situation. i dled it, extracted everything to my desktop. i got updates and everything, but i still cant find the place to enable apmlive. help please?

About the appearing, yes pplug is rather unstable, but I can give you a tip:
Instead of using the combo of kbd keys Alt+TAB use the "windows" key, the one that has a win' logo on it, the one that pops up the start menu when you're on the desktop. Im talking serious, A lot of times when i hit alt+tab my colors get screwed and actually the pplug's icon has disapeared to mee also, but never when I hit the windows key. Go ahead now.. try it.

EDIT: omfg ok i am having problems. crap teh pp icon wont appear. ok. i check both pp and thecd-check thing, and when i alt-tab out, i check icons and pp wont appear. any advice?

anyways, my probs are done. everytime i start sc, the menu pops up, and that annoyed the hell out of me because i had to reboot twice. now im good though.
