Question about Tinker [Archive]

Is his rocket hit enemy only or everyone in that area?
I could have test this out, but I guess is faster to get the information from here.

It only hits enemy's, its a good spell i like it

The Tinker's rocket-firing spell is okay, but not the best. The stun & damage is just .. too low to make a difference. Personal tastes.

Tinker overall needs a buff in cluster rockets, and maybe that engineering upgrade

He is a pretty good hero in my opinion

It's good for mass AoE (Blizzard/Flamestrike) et cetera because when you use those two the enemy has a second to think about it before they move away, therefore you wait for that second and then stun them for another second. Makes all the difference.

Yeah, it makes a difference, but its just that you can get something more effective.

Tinker's rockets only affect enemy units. However, they kind of suck at low levels. You'd probably be better of with the Panda's Breath of Fire & Haze combination. Haze slows them significantly and BoF adds good damage; unless you specifically want an interrupt.

The Panda's breath really kills at higher lvls.
A panda with a mana pot / UD statue = Phear.

Lol, first reading this i was thinking Dota. Anyways this is also a good spell when against heros with channeling spells. Personally i only get this hero for fun & go pocket factory & engineering, but i've seen enough replays of it doing real well to know it is worth something, just not imo over plenty of other heros.

Tinker is the bread-and-butter Night-Elf third hero against Orc, and can also be used by Human on Phantom Grove (against Orc) in an ingenious strategy dreamt up by Noconce. Apart from those two, it's most commonly used against Human and Undead. I used to use it for Night-Elf against those two races all the time until I started playing Orc.
