timmyturnroundabou, please be careful when posting. You will find a strong negative reception from people here if you use statements such as "it's funner than what you people play." There are more tactful ways to phrase such opinions. Also, if you are going to use abbreviations, make sure you use the right one.

When using Turn based combat, the enemy has little time to react to a combat manuever, meaning 1 poorly executed flank would leave the enemy in rubble.

That is not cool; in rts, the enemy can lay suppression fire on your flanking force, before manuevering his formation to intercept the enemy, can turn based do that? Turn based leaves it too easy. It takes little appreciation for strategic and tactical anylisis that is to be made in seconds, wich would suck the enjoyment out of games like starcraft. Starcraft's fun relies on the swift reactions and countereactions that have to be made within split seconds or suffer heavy damage.

Hmm, I have a turn based strategy thats very fun. But I like star craft the way it is, however I wouldn't be apposed to a turn based version of sc, maybe for a hand held system.

But the fact that ppl get stupidly serious over these issues is basically inevitable even they know that they should know better. They're always trying to prove it to themselves and others as if they have a fear of others actually somehow believing in that even though they know in the right mind that probably aint possible, considering those kind of ppl are probably retarded enough to not have to worry about reading, let along visiting warboards. It's a wonder that ppl who might actually fall for what he just said are only able to live with themselves by some crazy psychological phenomenon. XD
