battle net lag

So, whenever my brother and I decide to play in a Starcraft game together over Battle.net, it lags tremendously. We are both on the same wireless network, which has one internet connection through Comcast highspeed internet, but we don't have any trouble with regular internet use, or playing other games (in counterstrike, we can be on the same server without any problems). Does anybody have any possible solutions?
