Here yah go; iZarc (http://www.izarc.org/).

It's compleatly free and I think you can also creat your own .rar files with it too, with a lot of other file extensions.

Winrar. It's free, it just nags you mildly when you open it :/

Yeah, you download the free version. AFter thirty days, it asks you to buy the full version, but you can still use the free version, with a tiny nag screen at the beginning.

Izarc>Winrar.

I made a thread about a similar topic 'bout a year ago. Have used Izarc ever since.

I've never used anything other than WinRar, which is a fairly easy to use program.

I like 7zip (http://www.7-zip.org), it's free in every sense (no cost, open source) and cross platform compatible, which is not the case with WinRAR and IZArc. As far as I know, it opens everything that WinRAR and IZArc open, too.

BUT,

It's GUI is kinda blah... and for people like me with customized transparent windows and media players, it's not AS good as it CAN be. ;)

Although I suppose blah GUI's = simplicity? :/
It's all up to you.

I generally don't ogle my file compression utilities. ;) Usually I just right click and extract anyways.
