View Full Version : Melee Maps with all Neutral Buildings?

Have you ever noticed that Blizz does not have a Melee Map with all the neutral Buildings? I have Noticed that not many have Way Gates or Goblin Shipyards. Anyone have a map with all Neutral Buildings? IF not anyone wanna make one?

Mind on showing me one fo these map, cuz I have nvr seen a Melee Map with all Neutral Buildings.

Having all the neutral buildings in a map would really clutter it, don't you think?
With too many places to buy stuff, people would not need to fight over the possession of the neutral buildings, which I think is one of the elements of a good melee game.

Besides, different types of neutral buildings are not equal in power, if you know what I mean, so they would have to be placed symetrically and equadistantly in regards to all players. That would require the placement of several buildings of one type - and that's just too many.

Hmm. Well, to be honest the map making doesn't seem that hard to make. Yes, for the most part it will have top be an epic map cuz 30% at least needs to be deep water, for the sole purpose of having goblin shipyards. Also epic, cuz way gate will need to be for long range transporting. I see a 4 player map mostly, and yes epic is big for a 4 player map, but 8 player is just too small, and 6 player doesn't seem to work out properly. Dragon roost could be far corner of the map, along with the way gates, the way gates could connect to the central Island that will dominate the main Islands, the far corner island could be for expanding and have dragon roosts on them, plus the way gates, will kinda make it worthless to expand on cuz anyone could rush your expansion. plus dragons. middle could consist of most of the neutral buildings, marketplace, tavern, merc camp, and goblins buildings, on starting island enough to have a good Main base with goblin shipyards. making them having to choose air units, or ships to transport unit, until they can get to goblin lab to get Zeppelin located at central island, the central could also have many location for creeping starting island will have I guess 3 green for fast creeping, and also so i don't forget additional expansion island, The way I look at it mostly, Make (4)Islands.w3x but just epic size making the islands, and everything bigger. I was also hoping the map could be Lordaeron summer. also I don't really see a point for trigger since this would also be a Melee map. Again I will defiantly appreciate any help on this, all I see mainly is terraining. Placing Neutral Builds is fairly easy. Tavern Though I kinda would like to see on starting island in case ppl like me wants to hire a Hero first. ( sometimes hire Beastmaster, or Dark Ranger for my first Hero).Do you not read BlizzForums Anymore? There is a link to the post in my First post.

isn't it nice and good, with alot of taverns, merc.camps, merchants and all that stuff? nobody wants to hold'em, it's gonna be a constant battle! yaay!

once i made a map where u start with a tavern and a merc. camp for Outlands, they're cool! no store, though, but who needs a store in town, they can be built!

You could fit all the neutral buildings in a map if it was the max size and was like four players.
