I have been playing zelda since I was like 5, starting on NES, and SNES, back before N64 and gc existed. Although many people today would say the old Zelda games have sucky graphics, Its still the best nintendo series ever, and I mean all of the games, not just the good graphic ones.

Not a big Zelda fan, so I haven't been following everything, but weren't they gonna make this super cool Link for the latest Zelda, before they changed to cell shading? I seem to remember lots of talk about very good looking characters with super rendering and all that, and then they changed all the graphics to cell shading for Wind Waker. Am I making all this up?

A few of those screens have a create that looks like a mixture between an Infernal (Warcraft III) and a Balrog (LotR). Cool shit.

I've never been a fan of Zelda, primarly because it's been solely for the Nintendo consoles. This, just might change all of that, however ;)

Everyone thought the cel-shading would look horrible, and if the gameplay was slitely different, it probably would. However, considering the style of TWW (the wind waker for those of you who dont follow zelda acrinymns) the cel-shading worked perfectly, I personally think that TWW is the best zelda game so far, second only to OoT...

Orcarina of Time is one the best games of all time. I'm glad they've gone back to the OoT style graphics. These pwn.

OoT was the best Zelda ever. No doubt of it.

I don't see why people have a problem with cel-shaded graphics in Zelda (or Cel-da for those dumbasses who call it that). It worked out perfectly, and there was still an incredible amount of detail, just in a somewhat different look.

Someone earlier is reffering to the battle between Link and Ganandorf. Those were just a thing put together by gamecube to show how great it's graphics and engine was. It was never going to be used as the game. Man, it was a great video, though.

I downloaded the E3 trailer from IGN. It's great.

As for best Zelda ever...I think that A Link to the Past (SNES) was the best. It was more challenging, longer, and, in my opinion, overall more fun. OoT was short, easy, and tedious. A great game. But I don't think it holds a candle to the older games. Have you played the original Zelda? That game is crazy difficult.

ah..old memories..I played the first Zelda that came out on the old NES..but couldn't get a SNES after that..
