Arcade Problems

Okay seriously. I hope im not alone on this.

I've gotten this SOB message about 15 times now, 2 of which were highscores.

Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information.

The error returned was:

This score was not submitted from the game. Your score will not be saved.

Im getting really tired of it >.<

Is there anything to be/that can be done?

Do you click on "Remember me?" when you sign in to WarBoards?

"The score was not submitted from the game" makes it sound like (assuming you were playing legitimately) there's a bug in the anti-cheat systems we have in place - I would guess that somewhere along the way the forum lost track of the fact that you were playing the game so when you came to it with a score it basically said "do I know you?"

In short, nothing YOU can do except report the errors to the staff with as much detail as possible such as how long you were playing for, what link you clicked to start playing the game, what your submitted score was, what your old score was, what the top high score was, if you had "save my login" checked, your browser, and other tiny details like that. Those details can help whoever does the coding to figure out exactly where the problem is occuring.

WEll, I played for a good 12 minutes. I had been playing tetris, and the top score now is Baracus' 19500, I set about 25000 just now, and it didnt get recorded.

The link I used was the one off the highscore sheet.


Im finding it happens when you play a game multiple times without going back to the Main arcade area in between - which really sucks.

Sigh, another high score lost.

I doubt that it's when you play a game a lot without going to the main page because i do it all the time and haven't gotten any errors.

I too have had this problem. Although with not so much drastic as a high score lost. On Maeda path it happens to me all the time... and I don't really know why...

Well schwitzer, yes that does work, but when I play from places that arent my computer (quite often recently) then I cant use that for a solution.

idk what to tell you, your logout cookie times out unless you've checked remember me.

so.. don't spend hours playing in the arcade when not at home? or just remember to log out after you check remember me. :P
