Well, i'm contemplating weather or not i want to leave this site. It was pretty good at the start but then all the flaming just sorta got on my nerves. So what if i may play like a newbie, does anybody understand that i used to play all those frickin money maps, therefore am not good at anything else really? I've also heard some of the people saying that there arn't enough people who visit this site, but what i dont think they realize is that the people here are the reason people don't come. All your flaming of the newbies gets old, and it really makes them feel unwelcomed. I'm a little confused--I thought this was supposed to be a site where starcraft lovers come to learn more strategies and talk about stuff, no matter how good or bad they are.

Don't listen to, sambo, twitt or whoever else makes fun of you. Trust me they just want to ruin the experience for everyone one else. Sambo was banned like 5 times and sometimes people like blizzforums so much they come here and try to make other feel bad over here so warboards doesn't get members. Trust me they are a few exceptions. Just ignore them. There are many other kind people here other than them.

Listen to what battlecruiser says, its true. From the stories Ive heard, a lot of blizzforums people are really mean, and/or strict. Trust me, there a lot of good people here who it would be a shame not to know.(like BSTrhino, ZeroDarkStar, battlecruiser, the list goes on)
I never saw sambo flaming, but one anoying person was disciple, (DID HE GET BANNED YET?!) who hung/hangs out in starcraft II theories, just crashing other peoples ideas, and saying in a poll, that he has a "fucking life", and that starcraft is an old gay game,. Interesting how someone who only disses other people and crashes there ideas, says that they have a life...

Well I was a forum newb here (wouldn't call myself one anymore) and I can't play melee for shit. Nut I don't think I ever got flamed nor have I insulted anybody else. If I have insulted anybody then let me know. I have seen a few arguments on wb though, and a few people who go out of their way to make life hard on others. But it is just something you have to live with. If things get too out of hand then pm a mod and see what they have to say.

Well, i'm contemplating weather or not i want to leave this site.
That decision is, of course, entirely up to you. If you sincerely believe that there's nothing worthwhile on this site than so be it; I just wouldn't agree with your opinion there.
It was pretty good at the start but then all the flaming just sorta got on my nerves.
People talk other people down. It happens. I come in and try to clean it up when need be, but you must bear in mind that by arguing back you only encourage said flamers to have another go at you. If someone flames you, report it and we'll deal with it.
I've also heard some of the people saying that there arn't enough people who visit this site, but what i dont think they realize is that the people here are the reason people don't come.
I've never heard that, and I also don't believe that the current members are a deterrent for potential members. Personally I think you got insulted by one or two certain individuals and somehow accepted this as being the general attitude of everyone on the forum. Clearly this is not the case.

Listen to Schwitzer on that one. He's the wize one (Him and BST both... I am not worthy to be here x.x). The thing is, people are weird nowadays. If they don't want you around, they will try and get you out. Trust me, I got nearly into trouble at another forum (No, not BF, and not here), because I was a newbie. People didn't like me, because I SAID that I had 4 years of B.net experience (Yea, that was a few years ago...), but they didn't believe me. I played them on Blood Bath (4 player map), and got pwned. You know why? Because I played UMS, and not Melee. They still think I'm the biggest newbie ever. What they don't know, is that in one of my earliest maps, I recorded a few of their names into it, and have units killing them, and respawning them. It's quite funny, really... But that map's gone now... It got deleted with my old junk, which I'm kind of glad. People will be people. Learn to live. Meh... Who cares. Oh, and by the way, my melee skills STILL suck ;)

Schwitz speaks well. Please, by all means report inflammitory posts to the forum moderators and/or the administrators se we may put an end to such unwelcome behavior. On the whole we really are a much more friendly community, apart from the deadbeat Blizzforums rejects that got wind of our veritable utopia and decided that it was in their best interests to crash the party and steer people away from the light side, so to speak. ;)
The last thing we want is for members to feel put off by the actions of a minoritarian few. Those few are the ones that should be reported and those reports will not go unanswered. This staff genuinely cares about the community experience, and we will not allow anyone to infringe upon it.

I understand. I've been flamed quite a few times in the tactics forum. You are right, we are here to encourage StarCraft lovers to discuss strategies (you got that of SC.org's strategy submission thing didn't you?) so if you have any suggestions, don't hesitate to tell us about them.
I suggest that what you do is put annoying people on your ignore list, which you can find under your user control panel. It's not perfect solution, we know.

That's right. I especially agree because I see your strategies, and others, pop up on StarCraft.org every day, and I know there are strategies that say "mass 170 hydras" and "I recommend playing the fastest map for this strategy" so I realise that we're not being very welcoming to all these many individuals. I'd like to change that, with your help. Don't go!!!

Yes, there are some real assholes here. But don't let them and their actions, ideas,...make you or anyone else leave! I find this a great forum (maybe that's just because it's my first forum I was ever on...Well, a first time for everything, I guess...). I never flamed upon any newbie, n00b,...I just hope nobody thinks about me as being one of those assholes...Well, untill now I didn't meet anybody who said such thing, so...

Think of it as a perfect orchard. Most of the fruit is really really good, but because theres no such thing in existence as perfection, there are a few bad fruit, who try to distract from the goodness of the rest of the fruit.
I like analogies. :)
