Favorite/most useful hero

tell about why you think your favorite is most useful, along with your strategies. I want to know some good strats:D

i like pitlord cause he much imbalance hero. 1 spell summon flames from the heavens and kills units in like 2 secs flat. 1 spell shrieks and scares the enemys to flee lowering atck. i forgot the other spell. oh and he has ultimate power to make demons. he kind of imbalance.

I like Warden, SS, FON + blind, ability to showdow hide, and her ultimate, is super!
pick Alchemist for second hero heal and tank in the front line, you will never say die.

Demon Hunter is powerful but he is not very fun to play with or against. I do prefer using the FS and the AM (cookie cut first heroes for orc and human respectfully) more.

KOTG, DR, and DL can be much more enjoyable and fun to play with, although are not as strong (at least late game).

i like the BM for a very early hero rush...i start stopig the enemys economy..and yeah..as cole said...the pit lord is imba...and has pretty good spells :)

Far Seer - Wolves for scouting, fighting, last hitting, cancelling healing/clarities, harrassing, multitasking, etcetera. Chainwave works nicely as well. Although I do like Hex on the SH.

I actually really enjoy the PotM. I love Trueshot, especially when it pumps up my Archer/Chim strat (I play 4v4, not solo.) Add Searing Arrows, and she does a good deal of damage herself.

DM all the way. There is NO tactic how to combat him effectivly. And I like his style. Mana burn abuse ftw.

I prefer the Blood Mage. Yes he is weak is melee combat. But you banish a hero so he takes extra dammage from spells, mana drain him, flame strike him, and that hero is out of the game, one way or another. Pheonix has pheonix fire, that targets random units. Thats cool. Pheonix is also very strong. Only downfall is how he burns to death.. then the egg is easily killed usually.

Actually, you can just move the Phoenix to the back lines when he's about to die and the opponent is forced to either ignore it and run around and kill it, letting you get free hits in on his units.

I think that the DK is the best hero in the game.
He can instant heal / kill, and has a minor regen / speed boost aura around him.
He is a very solid and strong hero early on, and becomes even stronger with the Lich at his side at tier 2. Who can disagree with the fact that high lvl DK + Lich is imbalanced : /
Not to mention, DK has a reasonable amount of HP and armor.
Like some people say: "DK is the backbone of the UD"

You realize that what you just wrote basically makes no sense. And besides this is senseless arguing over how a DL beat a DK...whoop-dee-fuckin-doo. Let me guess next you are going to tell us about how, since you play so many Ladder games, that you actually beat some guy (or however the fuck someone like you says you got your ass handed to you)? Please dont waste everyone's time on your bad grammar and unsupported 'facts'.

On another note, I like the Beast Master if I really want some good damage in battle, like his ultimate. In my opinion AOE attacks arent the best way to go in most circumstances, because they hurt the enemy but at the same time take valuable HP from your units. Chain spells like...healing wave or w/e that healing thing from the Shadow Hunter is called, that's a good spell, or Chain Lightning, those spells can hit multiple enemy units without totally screwing over your units. Another good hero is the Warden, her ultimate is very good considering the little spirits are invulnerable and are an invuable asset in battles where you seem to be losing too many units. The Dark Ranger is a good second hero, once you have the option for a second hero you would have an army able to deal out death to the enemy, she is very good for infecting a unit with black arrow just as they are about to die, thus giving you a decent backup unit for very little mana, either to use as fodder or support because the battle is going south for you. Now the Firelord...he is an odd one...you have to use him in battles with lots of units or his Lava Spawn dies out quickly and you end up with no mana and no support, soul burn is a good attack, Volcano is pretty good as well.

I just realized that I am writing entirely too much so I will you with those tidbits of my opinion...please dont persecute me for them :).

Totally agree with the comment about the warden, she's a maestro, that one. Totally underused, too. It was wicked when she could blink up to the ledges on gnoll wood.

On topic, I'm fairly certain that the crypt lord can beat a dreadlord one on one. Except I have better things to do than test it. In fact I have better things to do than post.

Death Knight at level 6:

Average Attack:43
Hit Points: 1000
Armour: 5
Speed: Fast, upgrade to Very Fast from aura (even at level 1)

Dreadlord at level 5:

Average Attack:37
Hit Points: 850
Armour: 4
Speed: Average

Clearly, the DK would win. The end.

When you aim them, the units that would be targeted would show up in green. So position it where your units would not be hit.

Tier 2 push with the FL. Works 90% of the time except if you are versing a by far superior opponent. His "Lava Spawns" don't die quickly, unless you dump them at the frontline.

If you want to point out that an example should have been provided, then provide an example that supports YOUR position rather than attacking someone else's assumption. Demon hunter and BM are my fav, though BM is not as much of a viable hero as DH is. I play 2v2 for the most part.

I personally really like the agility heros. Really good hero/unit killing power with their attack and the DH can tank quite nicely with evasion & pots.

BM is great for hero killing, specially with SH & hex. That's my 2 cents worth
