Hello everyone, some of you may remember me from the BF warcraft community and some may not, but after getting a new computer i decided that i wanted to get back into the game only to find out that i had lost my TFT disk, my question is, is there still an active enough community both here and on Battlenet to make it worth picking up a new disk? or should i not bother as the community is beginning to die.
Feedback is much appreciated

Isn't there a way you can register to get a disk replacement if you send in the manual/replacement cost? Details can be found on battle.net somewhere, as I saw the page of it before.
Warcraft is still going good - I hear Blizzard are making a new patch, and actually listened to the complainers... ;)

Yeah, the professionals are keeping the game alive for long enough for the community to be interested. It's good for at least another year, I'd say.

Ha, another year? At least a few more. But WC is going to die eventually, for some reason it didn't attract as many people as SC. Also WoW also dragged some people out of normal WC, so thats blizzards fault.

The price has dropped alot, it doesn't cost you much to get a new one now, just do it.
I guranteer you the game will at least go on for another year.

I bet sending the manual/key in would give you a three week wait of thumb twiddling. But you could give it a go.
Oh, and I was giving this game another year two/three years ago. Blizzard games seem to have a penchant for longevity. Let's hope that's not the case with that other warcraft game...

Hm, I wouldn't say.
You can get some other kick ass game for the same price.
Try Guild Wars, its cheap and fun.
if you decide to use the money on un-popular game such as Guild Wars, may I suggest you to use that money for a day out with your gf or just grab something from McDonald.

Guild Wars does not work on my computer.

Sorry, just wanted to get that off my head. It's good while I used to be able to play it, though. WC, however, is better.

Yeah, I have to agree ; Guildwars gets boring after about 1-3 months of playing. It's one of those games you go crazy over for a short period of time.
