i want to host various games but i have no idea what i am doing as this is my second day playing warcraft, i have seen the maps for download and was wondering what to do with them after i have downloaded them, i'm guessing putting them into my warcraft directory somewhere, do i put them in the map's folder or the downloads (in the maps folder) ? or am i way ofline ? and if/when i complete that part do they show up automatically when i choose what game im wanting to host ?

Put your maps in your download folder.

By default is this. C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\maps\download (If you dont have a download folder you should make one)

Afetr the maps are there, create a game on battle.net. (Custom Game, create game, browse for a map)

You dont need to restart WC or anything after the map is in the correct directory.
