Thought I'd give you all a preview of the future.

Multi-Quote
The much-requested multi-quote feature allows users to tag multiple posts that they wish to respond to by clicking a small button on each post. Once the user clicks the reply button, each tagged post is quoted.

To increase usability, by default, only posts within the current thread are automatically quoted. If you wish to quote posts in other threads with multi-quote, you simply need to click a link on the reply page, and the text of those posts will be added without a reload.

Mark Forums Read with AJAX
If you wish to mark a forum read, you can simply click its status icon on the index page and the change will be processed without a reload. You can even mark individual sub-forums as read in the same way.

Quote Tags Link to Quoted Post
When quoting a post, the ID of the post is automatically included with the tag. When the quoted text is viewed in a thread, a small icon links back to the quoted post.

Private Message Preview in Notification Emails
If you have elected to receive emails when receiving a new private message, the email will now contain more than just the name of the user who sent you the message. The title and body of the message will be included. Any BB codes in the message will automatically be converted to an equivalent plaintext version using the new plaintext bbcode parser.

Example output might look like this:
[quote]
Quote:

Good stuff, I've wanted the PM thing for a while now. When do you plan on upgrading it?

Will there be any media tags? Like [SWF] and suff, or at least if flash was allowed in sigs?:D

It all sounds awesome. That Multi-quote is going to be nifty :)

So far, the new version looks completely sweet! Can't wait. And, will there be a new skin for the forum along with the vBulletin update? :P

Will there be any media tags? Like [SWF] and suff, or at least if flash was allowed in sigs?:D

No, please no... Sigs will then lag the whole page up...

No, please no... Sigs will then lag the whole page up... There can always be limits :). But anyway you're prolly right...
I like the marking forum read, no reload, whoohoo!! I've never been able to read everything new.

There won't be flash sigs, to many vulnerabilities there. And do you really need a flashing, moving, animated, sound effect filled siggy? =P

all I can say is *YAY* multiquite ^_^

Hehe, I agree with Neo on that. I don't need scream link sigs jumping out at me while browsing warboards....... I can see it now.... onMouseOver(scream); oh the horror......

No, please no... Sigs will then lag the whole page up...

Flash files can be extremely small...especially a 125x500 file that just is animated.

'Überoni'. Finally it raises back from the dead. Thanks, AJ! :)
The time of duplicated tabs from my behalf will come to an end swiftly... and gladly. :D

All of those are just dandy (congrat's and thanks again ;)), although the one I take less attention into is the PM preview thingy. And it's duely justified by the current small time I take, and have, to open the program to actually read the msg's. :P

Anyway, I just hope that we'll still be able to pick the current WB's theme even if you will 'punch' up some new ones.
