Theme Sucks!

Personally, I think the white makes a change from BattleForums and BlizzForums. Plus it's quite pretty. :P

If you do change it, and DON'T, then make an option so that you can keep this style. I like this theme, it's nice and... light. :). Keep it, don't listen to this guy.

I like it light, everything seems more peaceful, and pure. And like WK said, if you're going to make another layout (a darker one that is), then give us the option to change, 'cause I'd stay with this.

I rather like black themes...although they get old when every single website uses one. The white/grey is a nice switch. I'd say that I prefer blue over all though. Hmm...think we could have a theme design contest, and the winner has their theme placed as an option for all members to use? Just an idea.

About the layout competition Modred, it's a good idea for other sites, but for this site, I don't know, it could work... but to be honest I'd like Fenguin to do any other themes, just for consistency and things I guess. I wonder what others think?

I like fenguin's layout. Just keep it this way. Fenguin is good at making layouts. Maybe when this layout becomes boring, Fenguin can make another one for us.

As soon as I'm free of bloody AP tests and I finish another forum theme that I'm working on, I'm going to start designing an alternate for here. :)

And don't worry about not being able to switch between themes, it's a simple variable in the vB admin panel that's turned off at the moment since there's one theme. :p

A design contest might not be the easiest thing to conduct, since the participants would need to have knowledge of the vB theme engine, and somethign tells me AJ won't let anyone peek at it. ;)

I think the white ought to stay, or at least a light color, because BlF/BaF both have darker ones.

If you can switch though, no problem, change is fine. I just get sick of the dark all the time.

Old LCD monitors have an 'invert' button on them. You can invert the colours. Instant dark theme. :D

Although if we're going to have new themes is it possible to make a warcrafty/starcrafty/Diablo theme.
you know like the various images/tables etc being outlined with wood or whatever for humans ...leaves for NE..blood for orcs..ice or UD..stuff like that...(haven't played Diablo or SC that much so i guess you can guess my bias :p )
You could even have a coat of arms somewhere.

Hmm..perhaps too ambitious?
I guess it's easy for us to ask you guys for whatever we want without considering the time and effort that goes into these things..

That's rather Battleforums/all-other-blizzard-forums-related, if you ask me.
And we plan to branch off from just solely Blizzard content at some point..

Anyhow, the style does in fact not suck. So..this is a useless thread.
