View Full Version : Naga has made its way into solo~
So yea now naga has moved on up and is now a USABLE FIRST HERO. Wohoo. I now currently use naga first in orc vs ne. Its so great when the NE only goes 1 aow. Basically once i get level 2 frost arrow its gg. Basically heres what i do. Basically what i do is tavern build getting early grunt, then i harrass with naga grunt. Manaburn isnt that effective vs naga(Compared to other heros) which is what makes it so nice. I then basically creep to level 3, get a second rax, and do a T2 push with mass grunt/hh/cata naga/dr or tinker. This strat was showed to me by a level 41 solo orc and a guy thats 17-1 solo so yea its pretty valid. Ill try to get some good reps soon.
Do you mean that now the NSW is being used in solo, but is the same since it was altered x patches ago? I almost thought that there was a new patch or something...
"Mana burn isn't as effective" - well, you would still want to be using forked lightning, right? She is still an intelligence hero and would get killed by the DH. I have never really liked the NSW, although a few (good) replays could change my opinion.
hmm nsw as first hero against ne...sounds good...i have a solo match today..so i'l give it a try and il replay more after..still i find it interesting

Well, it works, and has been there for... Months already?
Just like pitlord first (or second.) as ud vs orc :)
It hasnt been there for months O.o. Im talking about as a SERIOUS strat along with the grunt/hh/demo unit combo.
No, Naga is mainly used for frost arrow, its so awesome at picking off archers/heros and even gay hunts. Manaburn is less effective because it takes a few manaburns to stop her frost arrow. And if you have problems keeping her alive then just buy boots. Ill try to get a game vs one of my level 41 clanmates today and ill get him to use it vs me. Hes seem to of perfected it.

NSW gets owned without Boots of Speed, full stop. If the DH gets those Boots before you do you're sooooo screwed.
