Err, I hear psi storm has a play in this....I've always seen two choices for Toss. They can go zlot/goon/storm, or air...Air would get rid of tanks, but introduce gols...so toss goes air/zlots, but then Terran goes gols/vultures, toss dwebs, err, I'm rambling.

Dwebs, speed lots, obs and goons for toss, Muta ling for zerg, and metal for terran( winner+more numbers and upgrades). I think thoses are the metal counters. Toss can go carrier/arb, that im not sure of though.

Early game P: Zeal/Goon flank
Mid game P: Zeal/Goon/DT flank with storms and shuttle bombs
Late game P: Carriers/Arbs (stasis)

Z: Mutas

T: Have more and better upgrades. BCs later on if you need them.

What are shuttle bombs? And the psi storms range is less than the tanks range.:( But hey! I posted advice that Middy agrees on!:P

Shuttle bombs are where you load 4 zealots in a shuttle and drop them on tanks while flanking them. If you're really lucky, it'll drag a mine into their units and cause a big explosion (like Chron's old siggy). If you're lucky, nearby tanks will splash-kill your target. If you're not very lucky and they manually control their siege tanks (pressing stop unless targets in sight), it won't do very much (quick death by vults).

Oh, and you don't storm independently - walk up with a HT and cast. No, when you're flanking (tanks have acquired other targets), that's when you use it.

Thanks. What build is generally used for toss vs tank pushing? And are there any builds that have early +1atk/armr? Oh and If they have 1 fact what does it mean? What does it mean If they have 2 facts? I'm trying to learn all I can before I start playing on bnet(Within 2 days or so)

1fac early game i assume?
it means that he is
a) doing fake gundam into expansion (no wall many marines)
b) if he has wall he is making drop (wall)
c) he is doing fast expansion (wall)
in a) you make some goons no need for robo. remember goon range. your exp timing depends on your goon micro. with strong goon micro you can kill his fake gundam (6marine 1 scv 1tank 1 vultu mines) attack using 1gate goon. with less strong micro u need 2gate goon.

b) you cover your main. if you have cliff you will need shuttle before you expand
c) you expand. both b) and c) you could make fast robo and fast observers. then if you see f e with obs you can stop making goons.

2fac means you make observers and 2gate goon before expansion. Or maybe not. Iam not a toss player so this is just guessing. But something like this.

you're a noob.

Z: Mutas, I recommend on upgrading them. If he hardly does tanks, do hydras and mutas with double evo chamber upgrades
T: Tanks, goliaths, dropships
P: dragoon zealot, zealot bombs, some psi storm, arbiters, well w/e. It's mainly just massing dragoons/zealots

first of all, with t, im guessing that the dropships are to drop stuff onto the tanks? im getting the general advice like this

T: mainly just get more tanks that he does

Z: Mutas, with maybe ling or hydra

P: goons, zlots, zlot bombs, and spells.

I would like to thank you all for your help

In TvT, droppers can be used to drop their fortified positions, yes, but they're mainly used to take out expansions via drops.

You can that, OR you can scan his base and when you find a weak point (i.e. not many units) drop like 4 dropships (tanks and golis) or whatever you have and immediately seige and hold position with goliaths right behind tanks. This also makes the perfect time for you to expand (or even double expand) since he will be worried about the units in his base.

As a Protoss I wouldn't say that Terran metal is dreaded but they are pretty cheap especially those damn Vultures.

Two Psionic Storm can pretty much handle any Terran Metal. Early game, you need shuttle bombs and you need to flank them. Mid game you add storm and DT in the mix and late game when its tank/vult/gol you need Carriers and Arbitors.

Don't know how to deal with them with other races..

Z: Mutas + lings + queens (ensnare + spawn broodlings) - just ensnare their units, gols will be much easier to take down with mutas. Once the gols are destroyed it's over for them. Spawn broods on their tanks and send your lings against him.

T: I don't play terran usually but I guess outnumbering his army with metal?

P: speed zeals + storms.
