www.freewebs.com

There are tons of free webhosting services.

Google is not sentient. Google is not an empath, nor is It a psychic. Google is not God.

You could also try Tripod.com. Some people don't like it, but I think that it has more features than freewebs.

I'm using freewebs at the moment, although I might switch to something else in the future. A thing I really dislike about freewebs is that it won't let you use the status area unless you upgrade. >.<

It's got some nice, easy to setup add-ons, though, and I like it's HTML editor.

Also, and perhaps most important: no ads! ^_^

Freewebs is probably the fastest I've seen as well -- ie: actualy speed wise.

If you want to upload a website to a paid host, you will most likely have to use FTP. If the host does not provide a web interface, I recommend FileZilla (http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/). Just be sure to keep the settings straight.

Free hosting services almost always provide web interfaces for uploads.

If you want a preveiw of a tripod website, go to

www.goredsocks2021.tripod.com/phantom

this website really sucks, by the way...

That link doesn't work.
But this one (http://goredsocks2021.tripod.com/) does.

by using Gspace and having a gmail account you can upload for free up to 2.7gb of stuff, and the space is always increasing.
