Yeah, that happens to me too. Sometimes what I do is turn starcraft on first rather than AOL. Of course, this doesn't always work, but if you do that and it still doesn't work, leave SC on and close AOL. Wait a minute or two, then reopen AOL.

I'd have to say that AOL is evil with most things related to 'Net interactivity and not SC-BW and such but wtf, it seems that you're on roll here.

Yes indeed, when you try to cancel there service, they wil CONSTANLY call you and and try to get you to come back with 5,000,000 different offers. These guys are extremely deserpate...

And what makes it worse is everytime you log on, they seem to LOVE to send you a whole bunch of completly useless sh*t that you really don't care about. And viris blocker, spam blocker,...If AOL tryed to focus more on there customors than 'protection', maybe there services would be better.

Not to say that AOL is 110% useless, in fact, most of the time it satifys my needs in a fair manner. And I like the adjustable spam blocker. Although sometimes it mistakens certain things for spam. virus blocker is a its moments, too. But its just a really average company with a really averge internet access program, regaurdless from what I said.

But last time I checked, this wasn't a AOL flaming thread...

Ummm... OFF TOPIC!!!

But the problem isn't just with SC, I have other stuff that connects to the internet and that doesn't work either. I think AOL is preventing me from using stuff that connects to the internet.

Uh....

...

...

...

...You can always just call or e-mail for tech support. O fcourse I doubt you'll get anything useful back, its worth a shot. Or try emailing blizzard about it. You'll have a slightly better chance for them.

...and if that don't work you can sue

Sue Blizzard? For what? Being uncapable of setting AOL straight? Just in case you didn't knew by now, they're different companies with none afilliation what so ever between'em. :P

No, you can sue AOL. Blizzard is fine how it is.

Aol has the worst possible tech support. It was a guy that made you feel like going to the aol company personnaly and yell at him.

Blizzard didn't help, they didn't know how ):<

Same here. I use them for a month, got a free modem, and dropped them back before broadband was prevalent.
