Who here listens to Paul Oakenfold? What do you think of him?
Man, i was just over watching his videos at aol.com, and i was a bit disillusioned. I mean, his music sounds all deep and stuff...but when you see the videos, it's all icky and pointless.
Faster kill pussycat- is it just me, or does this video give off a gay vibe? Not to be insulting, but i was all thinking when i saw it "is this about gay people"?
Starry-eyed surprise- on the cd, this song is fairly pleasant and quite a bit deep. A fun refresher. But the video was pretty stupid and pointless. Like it was just a commercial for Paul, or something.
Hypnotized- This song, on the video was much different than what's on the cds (i have two different versions of this song). It was a fun background mix, but the lyrics were pointlessly diced up. As for the image itself, it goes between a weird, sci-fi female and images from one of Paul's trips to China. It's like two storylines in a book with no connection between them. And neither storyline had anything to do with the song itself. It was like seeing two tv shows and hearing the sound for another channel all at the same time.
On an unrelated topic, I think warboards should have it's own techno music club, where we talk about techno and stuff.
