How do i go about enabling a secondary attack for a unit. I want units first attack to be melee range with certain weapons, and secondary attack to be aireal with a different kind of weapon. And not having both at one time, either they use a melee weapon, or a ranged weapon.

Thanks

Below 'Combat - Attack 1' and 'Combat - Attack 2' is 'Combat - Attacks Enabled'. Set it to 'Both' to use both attacks. The best you can do for different attacks at different times is to change 'Combat - Attack # - Targets Allowed' to different targets (Attack 1 for Ground, Attack 2 for Air for example). It will use 1 attack for ground and 1 for air; it will have both at the same time. That's the best you can do from what I know.

not forgetting a melee weapon range. it can differ from the size of the unit.

upgrades can be used through triggers to turn on/off secondary attacks I believe. (check flying machine bombs). Also root would be a good alternative. This allows you to change between weapons/ranges and attacks without having to replace the unit.

the night elf ancient ability...it has a "rooted attacks enabled" and an "uprooted attacks enabled". This may be useful.
