I've been playing some AT games lately. Me and my ally both played Nightelf and usually go for dual AoW mass hunts and tower push them or DH/archers straight til' naga or panda and bear/dryad.
But i kinda switched to Orcs now and i don't know any decent 2on2 builds.
So right now im using FS/TC grunts/raiders and some kind of casters, usually walkers. Sometimes we do the orc push, mass hunts and HH's and tower push them.

HU vs UD is annoying to play hero wise but their units are their weakness. Heres what i would do.

Heros: Fs/Dh ----> Sh or Tc(Preferably SH)/Naga(For the ne)

One of the biggest problems here is the nuke. Typically youll see DK/AM but t2 is where it gets tricky. Then you have to deal with dk/lich/mk which is just scary. You have 3 powerful nukes on you, two of which stun/slow two with a high direct dmg output. This is where your DH and SH come in. Use DH to constantly manaburn the DK and MK to prevent to many nukes from coming out, and spam heal wave on heros when they get heavy nuked, Hex any nearby nuke heros if you need to run back heros. Also try to utilize invis pots, NE staff, and health pots. The units should be the least of your problems though. I admit they can be a bit a annoying. Usually its something like rifle/caster to mass caster or just straight rifle caster while the UD goes fiend/stat/roy. Normally with NE/orc the NE goes hunts but here, id reccoment going archer UNLESS YOU SCOUT FOOTYS, and doing a fast tech to dryad bear and getting a T2 expo with the ne. Id reccimend you play alot of pvp and keep the UD from power leveling his heros but make sure your heros are at a good level as well.

As for the orcs units, he should get something along the lines of grunt/raider/cata/kodo. While the NE goes archer( IF rifle/fiend) or hunts if (footy/fiend) to dryad/bear. Some MGs might even work good here.

Other possible ways to play this MU is go tc/panda(NE) For second heros instead and spam aoe on fiends/casters. Use w/e way works best for you.

Riiiiight, some general rules for 2s as Orc/NE.

Firstly, hero choices are paramount. You have four usual options, FS/DH, FS/KotG, DH/BM and PotM/TC.

FS/KotG and DH/BM are the two main ones. Both involve an early harrass, but with the latter, this is directed at wood wisps etc. whereas the former is directed at the actual units.

FS/KotG is more commonly used when you have one or more Orc or Undead opponents, sometimes Human. The theory is, Orc player goes for a usual two Grunt tech and ends up with FS and one Grunt during the harrass, NE goes for KotG and one/two rax Hunts. You entangle a Grunt or Fiend and focus it down with aforementioned army plus wolves, almost always killing it in time if you start ASAP. Note that this does not work against NE because they can dispel the entangle and wolves with a wisp.

DH/BM is more commonly used against teams with one or more Human or NE players, where you can easily hit and kill wood wisps or peasants with the BM while the DH leads the enemy heroes on a merry chase, mana burning them into oblivion. It is often difficult for a NE player to micro both wood wisps and their hero and units, and if a HU player calls militia then he is wasting valuable resource gathering time. It may not look like much, but believe me, it mounts up.

FS/DH is used against teams which have Undead player(s) in my experience of things, but it is really an all-around combo that can be used anytime. The DH goes off and harrasses while the Orc player gets some quality creeping time in, and this hopefully gives you extra levels on the FS, as well as good items, while the Undead player is stuck trying to fend off a DH that is repeatedly mana burning his DK.

TC/PotM works against Orc/NE teams (ie. in mirror) and involves massing Hunts and HH while preparing to tower push them as early as possible, ideally when you each have a full group of your respective units. Both players tower the NE opponent's base and attempt to overwhelm them. Early game you creep with the TC and HH and harrass with the PotM, trying to delay your opponents' creeping patterns for as long as possible.

After your initial harrass or creeping, you want to counter whatever your opponent has at Tier 2. Raiders are often a good choice, Wyverns are commonly used against Destroyers and Huntresses. Tier 2 hero choices normally involve a summon hero such as Beastmaster against races that are weak to summons (Orc and to a lesser extent Human) and Panda against Archers/Undead. Naga and SH are good heroes as well, Naga against lightweight units such as Archers and SH against Huntresses or Fiends.

And I really do not agree with Cole's point of view about heroes being the main problem when playing Hu/Ud teams. Sure, the whole DK/Lich/MK combo is harmful, but Tier 3 units are devastating. Destroyers, Aboms, Knights, Inner Fire Priests, Master Sorcs, Gryphons, gawd, I could go on for ages about all that stuff. The key to stopping a Hu/Ud team is to stop them at Tier 2 when the Undead is weak. Keeping Slaughterhouses down, Sanctums down, reducing efficiency of their economies and expanding while containing them as effectively as possible are all viable strategies.

Anyway, hope that helps. IDK how much time I have before we go and eat, so, um, I'll go prowl WCR or something.
