First question is on RAM. I already have 2 sticks of this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820145450) Ram in my computer (which I built =P). My motherboard supports up to 4 ram sticks. If I make the jump to 2 gigs, can I just buy 2 more of those and pop them in and be good?

Second question is on installing 2nd HD's. I'm considering buying a second internal hard drive. I use SATA, and I just checked out my case and I'm pretty sure that I have enough space and power supply cords to accomidate another HD. When I install it, will I just plug it in to the case and it will be recognized? Will I have to "format" it or anything? I've never installed a second one before.

Oh, and one more thing. How important is cache size on a hard drive? As far as I can tell, cache is just extra RAM, so if I have 2gb of RAM, does a cache size matter at all?

Thanks loads.

1) As far as I know, if your motherboard supports the type, yes.
2) I've never installed a hard drive, but I have installed a CD drive which I believe are similar.
EDIT:
Yes. I think you will have to format/partition

1) As far as I know, if your motherboard supports the type, yes.
2) I've never installed a hard drive, but I have installed a CD drive which I believe are similar. You would have to set the hard drive to Slave, but then you could just plug it in and you'd be fine.

(Slave= you have to move a little connector on the back between pins. There is a set of 6 or so pins on the back of the hard drive, and a little piece that slides out. You move the piece in a vertical position between the pins to choose the setting. There should be little letters or a diagram on the harddrive telling you where the piece goes to set it to slave. I'm pretty sure this is accurate, but is only based on my experiance)

Actually, SATA makes the Master/Slave designations obsolete. Each SATA HD has its own cable, so there is no master or slave.

You can format the second drive in Windows with the Computer Management MMC snapin.

Go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Disk Management and the second drive will show up. The drives are numbered from 0 so your existing disk will probably be Disk 0 and the new disk will be Disk 1. You can right click the disk and format it.
