Wow... I'm sorry you lost your account... How did you lose it, if I might ask? Well, post later on that. If you need help, I would be happy to, if I knew a few things. 1. Realm 2. Ladder or non, 3. Hardcore or softcore. Those would really help. But really, if things went down in value, wouldn't that be good for you? That means you can go out, and earn things that are lesser common, and be able to trade for good items that went down in value? I would think that would help a little. But anyways, I, myself, am having trouble, as I just switched accounts. I would reccommend that you start playing and getting characters built. Noone will just come in and hand you items, unless you are very lucky... I am not as fortunate, and only have had 2 people help me out. Neo is one, who is our resident moderator, but I do return everything he asks me to, and then some (Remember that facet I gave you? :p). The other is my best friend from another town near here, but he doesn't really help, we just more or less party together, so we know noone's going to be stupid. Besides, 2 barbs (Levels 83 and 75) are better than one ;)

A few ideas when building MF chars. This is how my friend did it, how his friends do it, and how I'm going to do it.
Basically, build a perfect sorc for it. Orb or Blizzard. Fireball is nice. I've even seen a chain lit sorc that worked well. Figure out your build, and go through the game naturally, picking up everything you need along the way. Set aside the MF equip you need to use, and use it when you can. Once you get to Hell, and can do nm really well, start Nm baal and meph runs. That gets you decent stuff, at least for my friend and I. Once in a while, you can get some good set items. Save them up and trade them off. It may take a long while, but you will get the things you need, like Skulders and Shako's. Once you have those, and are comfortable in hell, do some Baal and Meph runs there, and find the good stuff.
That's how I was taught, and looking at my friend, how he just found a Skullders, IK Gloves//Boots//Maul//Belt, Trang's Belt (Damn him, I needed that x.x), and his friend he learned from found all of IK, Trang, Tal's, and a few others, it shows that the strategy works. It only took his friend about a month before he had all that he has now. It seems like a long time, but that's a max of 3 hours a day! That's no time at all when you think about it...

yea but usually set or unigues never come its always rares and shitty stuff drops i use fire wall it does 10k that works well and i still need mf stuff

Please dont sound pathetic ;)
You need to let us know where you are (what realm; IE: USWest) and if your are Ladder or not... like Geno said.
But dont expect handouts, its one thing to help people out, but its another to just give items away becuase you dont think your good enough.
I did a ton of MFing runs in nightmare killing Elderitch... Over and over and over and over again when I first started ladder with everyone else. It worked extremely well...
If you can handle Mephisto or Diablo in nightmare then run them, baal is always a good choice in Nightmare but can be hard if you cant handle the monsters in the worldstone keep.
Also make sure to keep an eye out for nice MErcenary Equipment -- get a Holy Freeze merc and level him up, they help ALOT for sorceresses, even Firewallers.
Also realize that your build (Firewall I am assuming) is not as great as it was pre-1.10. Most MF sorceres start off with Orb, then maxed Meteor, Fireball, and Fire Mastery...

ok im sry 4 not putting where i am from im from us eastand im non lader but i would want to be ladder it sounds better anyways whos elderitch i can handle anything in nm its just i have no luck the best i found was titans and nobody wants those im not really asking 4 free stuff i have some stuff 4 trade like shaft sandstorm treks 2xsojs and tal ammy whats the best mf stuff im guna go on now my acc is Mista_bean i been playing alot im lev 68

Wow... That took me a few minutes to decipher, due to no punctuation... Anyways, like I said, go to buy stuff, and once in a while you can find MF boots and such... Those are always a nice start, and if that doesn't help, keep searching out charms with MF. They may be small amounts, but those small amounts can add up! Work slowly. Don't get in a rush to find anything. Look at Neo, for instance. I see him run maybe 10 runs every hour or so, but in that hour, I'll ask him, and he'll say that he's found one good thing, and even then, it's not worth keeping to him. That's him and his uber 1337 MF. Trust me, I don't MF yet, but I have equip for it. The trick is, trade for what you need. Trading is the best way to get equip you can't find in a drop. You can make an El rune worth something, if someone really needs it... Trust me, I've seen stranger. I've seen a full Sigon's traded for IK armor before... That's strange, but true, as my friend says. Weirder things have happened, but lately, it's been less. I think items are becoming more common, now that it's been a while since the patch release, and in a while, new hacks will come... Until then, though, bear with it. You won't find everything. Rome wasn't built in a day.

If you are non-ladder its even easier becuase most things are relatively cheap...
I have like 1 character on non-ladder thats survived through the years (which I am sad about... lost my first d2 account awhile back due to inactivity) heh.
Eld is situated just north of the Frigid Highlands Waypoint in Act5...
You can also run NM Meph if you can teleport down there, he can drop somewhat decently.

Ok, yea, Skullders is good because it gives 1.25 (Correct me if that's wrong...) MF per level, so you can get really good MF from that, expecially with a socketed Topaz. If you can't get that, get 6 socketed armor and throw 6 P topaz in that. It's good MF. Also, Eld gives good stuff, I'm told, so yea, try that. And yea, I meant just boots and gloves you can buy with good MF. The armor and helm you can find 6 and 3 socketed things, respectably. Those can be socketed with P topaz's, which would give you decent MF for now. Later on, you'd want to switch up to something with more armor and some bonus' (Like Skulders), and plus, who doesn't like having really rare armor? ;)

man i keep finding nothing i got war travs cause they have 40 mf not too bad i dont realy kno if i can get better also can i get tal armer 4 ls shaft earthshaker titans 2 jewels trang gloves well is all that worth it also baal is preety hard and takes way too long is it even worth it trying to mf it also i got some dueling stuff like occt and lidless i wanna duel some one

Hey Vern, don't worry. I am just starting to so we could probley work together if you wanted to. It would probley be a good idea. You see I used to play Diablo 1 all the time then Diablo 2 came out, and by the time it came out I was into other things. I was working all the time and soon I had forgotten how and didn't have time to play. But, now I have all the time in the world to play. And, I am asking help and tips from anybody I can. So anybody who reads this. If I have a question? Can I rely on you guys and girls for some help?
