If only I could make something that renders realistically...
My models in Blender are limited to household appliances, like blocks and poles (preferably without texture).

Probably my problem is making textures, im not quite good on making my own so i use textures from other games like doom2

Photoshop is excelent at making textures for rendering. You can make almost anything with a little ingenuity.
I've got the former version of blender on my laptop and I've got this on linux (linux always gets the programs before they get into windows.:P) Both are very good, I'm curretnly trying to create a battlecruiser so I can render it and use it in my mod. I hope it turns out well.
Btw off topic but how long d you guys average out on your models?

Drat. And I just upgraded to 2.41 within the last month. Well, at least it's better than the version I had been using (2.33, haha!). I'll have to go check out the newever version, although it isn't really such a major release, or at least doesn't sound to be one.

Someone could goto creative concepts and look at my battleship..
How do you change the default place it is when you hit: Open. or Save As
