I can't wait for this, I use to love transformers as a child, one of my most favourite cartoons. With all the little videos people have made and how well they end up looking I think this is going to be a lot of fun.

Other movies dressed up as the Transformer movie to try and get more money. Then everyone realized they were being duped and then killed the movie. It was very tragic.

When I saw the beginning of the trailer I thought "Not another Mars movie". Then I saw TRANSFORMERS. I can't wait.

Ever since the cartoon movie, the tv shows and all my brothers toys, transformers = definining memory of my childhood.

And Michael Bay is directing - he did The Island, didn't he? That film had some fantastic action sequences.

But... what are the Transformers doing on Mars? I assume they're deviating a little from the standard plot of 'wakeup on earth after millions of years asleep following the flight from Cybertron'.

There have been some new announcements made on the Transformers website.
Peter Cullen is to be the voice of Optimus Prime and in about 2 hours time at 11am PST the 18th of August some of the Transformers will be revealed in a live Q&A broadcast on Yahoo, you can see it HERE (http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/transformers.html).
