I'd just like to say, I love this layout. I love the little spheres that glow blue when there are new posts. That is so cool. Props to Fenguin who made the place look good. I wish I could design like that...

And since I'm thanking all of you let's not forget the ones who made the forums work, AJ and Edgewize! It works like a dream.

Colors can be tweaked :) I've also got a totally different layout in the pipeline, so people can choose what they want to see. But it's a long way off and very low on the priority list.

I prefer the black of BF becauseyour monitor is not a piece of paper, no matter how hard you try to make it one. Staring at a white background while you read is like staring at a light bulb (don't believe me? Try turning off the lights next time you use a word processor). Would you stare at a light bulb for hours at a time? Not if you want to keep your vision.and he's always right ;)

phpBBs are awesome in the right hands, I have seen some truly great Themes/Skins for them. And besides that this skin right here could just as easily be on a phpBB ;P

It just takes work. and dont bash Open Source, even though some people think I hate it >.>, its fun to use.

Sides phpBBs arent $160 and they still come with tech support.

PHPbb is my saviour! Honestly, the entire php-nuke, phpbb scene has really revolutionised the internet. To think that in a few minutes, you can have a fully functional php/mysql website up and running with bells and whistles.

Now any idiot can get a website up and running in less than a day . . .I guess we have to ask whether or not that's a good thing :P.

Seriously, the only thing I would like on this forum changed is avys and sigs allowed. Well, I would like more forums, like in BlizzForums, but, hell, this is a relatively small community, like TSL (http://www.thesouthernlegacy.com).

But, seriously, at least avys and sigs allowed, or it's much harder to distinguish the different people. Besides, it all looks monotomous this way.

BTW, I like the smaller font on the headings, and how everything looks like brand-new shiny metal.

I told Charles my vote was for the IM icons to shift up a bit, so I suspect that may occur at some point. And there are several more things that could pop into the postbit at any time, depending on how hard I work on things tonight. ;)
