New to starcraft...question about mods

Hi, i just got the game recently and have already become OBSESSED WITH IT. but heres the deal. i know there are mods everywhere, but i'm looking for something that will let me change the look of the units. something mediavel. is there any type of unit conversions out there that would keep teh same stats for the character, but change its look, so in the campain maker i can make a mediavel war campaign? if there isn't, thats ok. but i'm just curious. thanks!

This will require alot of work for you. You will need:
RetroGRP
WinMPQ
MPQ Compactor
MPQ Draft
ICE or ICECC
All of theese programs ar at Starcraft.org

i want to know if you can apply mods to a single map as i am trying to create my own Zone Control type map and am finding it quite difficult cuz im new to moding

Modding applys to the whole game. There is no way to apply it to a single map.
