Whenever I get a win in ladder, I get some experience, probably about 1/5 or 1/6 of the bar to the next level.

Whenever I get a loss, I lose some experience, probably about 1/7 or 1/8th of the bar back down. And I disconnect 1 out of every 5 games, causing a loss.

You do the math.

Tonight, when I started, I was 3/4 of the way to L26. I won a game, lost a game, won a game, then lost a game due to disc. I am just about where I started. Sweeeeeeet!

UD fucking sucks. You can't do crazy shit with them like you can other races. If I'm losing w/ orc, I can just mass raiders and kill buildings and stall until I'm back on even ground. With UD, you can't pull off that total debauchery of the game.

So to all who listen, boo on ye UD. I want my ensare back! Spamming AOE! I want auto-cast faerie fire back! Fast-Expo 3 rax rifleman back! No more clicking! No more battle positioning! Damn you, skill-requiring UD, I hate you!

Yea welcome to the completly corrupt solo ladder. When i solo laddered alot id disc or get error 1/5 games usually and the more i won the more i was ok because i usually played level 32-38 but when i lost id play smurfs that were like 9-0 solo or some shit and were twice as good as those level 38s. UD can be a strong race, they just take a degree of skill. Just because people think orc is easy to play doesnt make them the strongest race. That one zn guy was like 15-0 with UD solo.

Actually, if you play enough games with a 50% win ratio you can get to Level 28, according to the latest AMM system. You may need to play thousands in some cases but you can get there.

Do you have more than 3 icons? You're a game masser. Start over or face the wrath of teenaged need for acceptance.

Otherwise, UD's limitations are based on their base's lack of mobility. Everybody but UD has some way of fast-expanding, and to top it off, UD expos are ridiculously expensive. All UDs bitch about this, but of course none of them bitch about their tri-hero nukes that at lvls 5/3/1 can kill an L5 INT hero (and some AGI) in one volley + Coil or FF.

I was trying to get back into WCIII, but I either get hacked or reminded of the same annoying cheese that drove me away.

UD isnt near as weak as they say it is. It beats orc expo by far but thats not saying much. Its just alot of people expo in the most obvious places to begin with and do it at the wrong point in a game...

I don't know how it beats Orc expo...it takes longer and it leaves giant EXPO HERE COME AND GET IT marks everywhere. Two towers and a burrow vs. three zigs are more effective, cheaper defense on top of that--4 peons become unharrassable and they fire at high range. Plus, you can TP to an Orc expo.
