Happy fourth! The fireworks downtown went off last night, but there are a few still going off tonight ^_^

I'm at work. I plan on stopping by to see my grandfather in the hospital (he's 80 and looking at a possible blood transfusion -- prayers would be appreciated), then I plan on getting some Zaxby's and going to bed, as I must return tomorrow, same bat-time, same bat-channel

Plans for me are watching fireworks. Oh, and eating. Can't be the fourth without the eating.

Ya know, I'm surprised the entire state hasn't been evacuated. Kong with fireworks should be freaky and no-one's hiding.

This is gonna rule! :D

Every squirrel, bird, raccoon, and other small animal better run like hell.. cus I've got a lot of beer, and it's imported. Amsterdam Maximator ftw.

Hope all us crazy Americans have a good one!

I'm doing homework and studying, but maybe going to a late / lunch / dinner / barbeque thingy tonight.

Happy birthday, America! I got a flag on my bike to celebrate. Kid's got some fireworks, too, we're gonna shoot those off. Here's to another 200!

Heh, aren't they a tad young for fireworks? Are you sure it's not you who got some fireworks? :)

I would like to let off some fireworks (its legal now, here in indiana -- not that its stopped anyone before) but I don't have any money, and my back has been killing me these past few days, think I pulled something.

Plus our dog is a nervous wreck because of the fireworks, I'd hate to add to her list of neruosis.

Happy 4th! It rained all morning here but cleared up in the afternoon. My friend and I shot off some fireworks. Good fun.

Vancouver Island.

Heh.

EDIT: Oh I thought you said "Where are y'all going?" Oh well. Either way, I was in Canada for the 4th. No fireworks. :(

Hey, what's everybody's favorite kind of fireworks? I haven't gotten to do a lot of them, but I like the good old mortar shells.

It was a decent 4th this year. Only marred by the fact that any good fireworks are illegal. Namely Bottle Rockets, Roman Candles, Firecrackers.. Damn tree hugging hippies.

Happy Independence Day. Going to the races today to play the ponies and watch a fireworks show, what are y'all doing?Stayed home and let our chow-chow-mix mutt inside so she wouldn't freak out at the fireworks. She only turned 1 year old around June, this was her first fireworks.

-NeoWow. Well, all 3 of our dogs are firework-scared, the chow just happens to be the only outside dog, so we brought her in. Actually, my parents and sister were in the living room watching movies and stuff with Naeomi (the Chow) and Stuart (a Bichon Frise), while Rudy (the Chihuahua) hid on my parents bed, and I played Starcraft in my room. Our cats just slept through the fireworks, as did my rat. But the dogs hated it. What a July 4th, proly the first one ever where we did not watch fireworks.

Ouch, that's pathetic. Well we went to Lyons (I tell ya it's a zoo :P) and saw their show. It was great. Like a mini Rosenblatt (Omahas big fireworks shebang).

How in the world did you introduce a chow-chow mix into company with other dogs?!

-NeoWe didn't. Not successfully anyway. Rudy is scared of her and hates her and Stuart only tolerates her. She just wants to play with them but they don't want to play with her. Rudy and Stuart get along fine, they always have, but they don't like Naeomi. Rudy even tries to attack her allot despite being like 10 times smaller than she is.
