Many of you don't know too much about me so I was just trying to find some brothers of the board around here. If you do skate please just tell me what you ride (as in label or brand) and your best successful trick. thanks ya'll

Yeah i hear ya its almost the only exercise (besides work) i get. Well I guess the number of skateboarders on here can be counted on 1 hand.

I have a board I got for $80... has a pretty l33t alien workshop deck. Used it for awhile before winter, haven't gotten it back out. Silly me.

I had a go at skateboarding once, but didn't really get into it.
Roller blading - on the other hand - I was a bit of a gun at. (If I do say so myself, which I clearly do. ;))

I tried skating, and found it fucking annoying. Riding a bike is faster, safer, and generally better.
The Skaters her are posers who think they're hot shit. It annoys the fuck out of me, so i'm generally not on good terms with them.

Well, I have a skateboard but I don't know how I got it or from where. It just suddenly popped up in my garage. Most of the idiots in my neighbourhood skateboard, well I wouldn't call it skateboarding it's more like rolling back and forth up their driveways and pushing the one end of the board down. It looks very exciting.

I have an old World Industries board on destructo trucks and a newer element board on some indies.
I've recently found BMX to be more interesting and challenging, plus I'm better at it anyway.

Yeah, I skate. Probably 'bout 2 hours a week, but that differs greatly. Sometimes I don't skate for a month, and then find this new trick to practice and do it all the time etc.
I can realise why lots of people have one but don't use it. It's pretty boring and lame once you just get started. My friend is practicing his ass off to finally land an ollie (^.^) and he gets bored after 5 minutes and just stands there. Once you get the basics down it starts getting fun. I'm not great (well, im hardly 13, so meh), but by now I can do a kickflip, indie, shove-it, pop shove-it and casper flip on flatland.
I don't really vert, I used to, but I like street better. It's as hard as you want it to be.
Oh yeah, I have an almost deck, and I can't be arsed to check out what my trucks and wheels are. Who cares anyway? I like 'em, and they make me go fast and smooth :)
I got the wheels and trucks on a complete set of 100 euro's, with a MiniLogo deck, but I put a 60 euro Almost deck on after the other one got messed up.
I'm currently practicing a board slide, but it's hard! I keep on fucking up my funny bone, so I can't skate for a couple of hours. :<

I'm afraid I'll have to ally with the BMXers here myself. I had a pretty badass BMX bike since I was a kid and gave it up only whenever I traded up for four wheels and a motor. I realize that BMXers and boarders polarize into factions which seems a little stupid, until you realize that boarders are annoying punks. My best trick on my board was the "Stand With Left, Push With Right".
I'm not the BMX type. I used to go street, but since a friend down the road got a half pipe built in his yard i do mor vert now. I got a rock'n roll down and almost landed an axel stall to drop in. Oh by the way i skat a blind currently but it sucks

Egh, I used to do vert, but I dislike it now. I just don't have the guts. Technique wise a rock and roll is a piece of cake, but it's just so damn scary riding back down again :P
BTW, there's this huge feud between the BMX'ers and skaters at the local bowl/pool w/e it's called.
The BMX'ers there are act like complete dicks. They go in for about 10 minutes and hog the whole pool, so that it's impossible for anyone else to get a single run.
No offense to all the BMX'ers here, this is just local.

I wish you could go in it without turning into a little stain on a BMX wheel ;)
There's also an indoor skatepark a bit further off, but you have to pay for that.
BTW, there's this kickass new place being built in the South of Holland, and it's going to be the biggest park in all of europe! :D
I skated for like 2 years but then got out of it last year because of the move to the farm (no pavment:/). I used to be okay on a board I guess. Best trick I forgot the name of but it was basicly where you do a heelflip then come up off the board turn yourself 180˚ and land it. Pretty hard but I managed. Last trick I tried was vert trying to copy off of my idle doing a kickflip backflip. Many, many hard knocks were earned trying that one.

Nice. That's a 180 heel flip right? Everytime I try I heel flip, I end up getting my balls busted on the deck, when it's kinda stuck in a vertical position with ends sticking into the ground, and into your crotch....

Yea I had that happen once in a while too. Hurts like the dickens. I'm not sure if that's a 180 heelflip. I think a 180hf is where both you and the board turn 180˚ but I may be wrong. I couldn't get that one down (both me and the board turning) I couldn't get the board to flip and turn at the same time.

Yeah, that seems to be the fate of every bloody skatepark. The major says: 'This place is just a hang out for junks, meh meh meh! Burn it!'
Then the kids that skate lose their fav. past time, and it actually only increases the chances of them doing something illegal. Old people can be so ignorant...
