If you're really drunk and truly intoxicated, it might be a bit difficult to use a computer properly. But if you're able to comprehend how a thread works, log on to Warboards, and use a computer properly, you still have enough sense to realize that posting spam is bad. When you post, you really make yourself look like an ass.

It was "cute" when one or two people did it. But now, it's so damned annoying when everyone makes one of these threads every week.

I was reading a book about general psychology and it was talking about how certain drugs affect the mind. One of alcohol's side effects is the diminishing of rational judgement, such as drunk driving (basically, alcohol makes you forget you're making a mistake). Apparently, this extends to drunk posting.

whenever i come home from a night of drinking, i always end up surfing online for some reason while munching on triscuit or quaker oatmeal squares, which eventually takes me to this site. i can't control myself, it's just not something one can do when one is drunk.

then, depending on whether i'm a happy or angry drunk that day, i post threads either hugging or screaming obscenities at everyone.

edit: surfing online while drunk isn't that hard as long as you concentrate.

I guess if there's too many drunk threads, the moda-whatsits just need to pounce on them faster. And you don't need a webcam - you can just upload pictures from an ordinary cameraphone, or from a digital camera, or from scanning in an ordinary photo. Assuming you have enough money for a computer, software and an internet connection you should be able to afford at least one of these options. Failing that, stop drinking, get a life and go get a job. No sense moaning if you aren't planning on doing anything about it. (That's a general comment not made to anyone specific.)
