Gee... guess that I'm out of your 'wuving' scope then. :P I happen to 'bitch' one time or another, but mainly with things I'd like to see otherwise, generally with the goal of forum improvement under my eye sight. There are a few exceptions, but you're not it for sure. ;)

I've tried explaining that to my sister, but she just doesn't understand why I don't want to walk all the way across the house (literally) to the toilet, when the door to the left side of my room is the side door to the house.
Why walk 60 feet, when I can walk three and pee off the side porch in the dark? She just can't understand it.

let's make a comparison here: harmlessly urinating into a creek vs. passing out and getting most of one's possessions stolen? whereas the former is merely regulating the acidity of said stream and so should be rewarded, the latter is something deserving of several good hard smacks.

i've been fortunate enough to not have experienced that yet. i'm usually a careful drinker though; i eat plenty of food beforehand and i rarely drink past my limit.

Honestly, have you seen his posts lately? Out of left field he comes into a thread and starts berating people with fuck this and fuck that you fucking retard, etc, etc. It's one thing to be drunk and post (which I admittedly have done) but it's quite another to be a a drunk asshole. Not to mention that he's an administrator, and well...we should hold him to a slightly higher standard. If all things were equal, he behavior would have gotten him banned long ago.

Since when does it count as "bashing" when someone is being openly belligerent? Reasonably, nobody jumps up to ask "what's with all the GA bashing?" when I go off on someone. I can link to at least 4 threads in the past two weeks that involve him cursing someone out unprompted and for no good reason.

His drunk posts aren't even funny anymore, and it seems like he doesn't even try to post anything good when he isn't drunk. I remember the old fenguin who liked to post funny videos and link to funny and weird news stories, and who made funny drunk posts about how we wouldn't feed him and stuff. He is an Administrator, and should show a level of maturity that coincides with his position.
He can be a funny guy, but it doesn't seem like he's trying lately.
No, I know fengy has been a rather big asshole as of late, I'm just wondering why there is an excessive amount of bashing going on.
I mean, yeah, hes been pretty bad as of late, but cmon, its fengy :(

For starters, I've said it before and I'll say it again. If you are going to start a drunk thread (while drunk of course), or post drunk at all, make it funny. Babar and Fengy, hopefully you guys both have that point now. It's annoying to have to sift through angry or stupid posts that just make no sense. If it's funny or entertaining it's cool and a funny read. Just blasting insults with the claim 'i'm drukn!' just doesn't cut the mustard, and shows a side of you that's easy to guesstimate what you're really like in real life. I'll elaboarate in a bit.
Here's a way to think of it how I try to. Think your at a party, and having some beers. There's usually one dickwad or moron who pisses everyone off just because he's a goof. He doesn't usually stay that long, at least with my parties. He either passes out quickly, gets thrown out or worse, beaten up. Why try to do this to the online world?

Neo, people arn't hating on Fenguin because he's posting drunk, or angry or whatever. What everyone gets upset at is random garble that just gets thrown here over and over. I could expect me and Schwitzer and Nuts and GA to get the same replies here if we did the same stuff Fenguin did recently.

There has been time to which I have had a bit too much to drink which ultimately led me to worship the porcelain god on numerous occasions. The good thing is that of all the times I have gotten smashed, I have not once ever had to nurse a hangover. even when I was in the military and was out boozing (downing Black Russians back then) at the bar (Nick's on the Boulevard in Norffolk, VA; Kongurous should know of this place) until closing time and then had like maybe 2 hours of sleep afterwards when I had to get up for the morning muster.
Though, unless you have actually had IM convos with me when I have been drinking, you could never really tell with what I post on the forums were from me in a sober state or in a drunken stupor. ;)
