i don't think Red Faction used any licenced physics engines (i.e. Havok). Those are generally the best. Hell, the game with the best physics engine ever used Havok (Half-Life 2).

Yes, the Covenant "own" planets. They glass the ones the humans are on because they are exterminating our race, not conquering it. I think the first signal that the humans got from the Covenant was something like "Your destruction is the will of the gods and we are their hands." or something like that.

To your first question, yes, once I was killed by a sniper while crouching and my character did a back flip. To your second question, if you mean by falling down to the ground in a vertical position, then yes, it happens all the time. Just jump of a cliff in coagulation and you'll see that he won't die because there is no fall damage. But if you mean for him to reach a horizontal position while staying alive before reaching the ground, then no, it is not possible.

Shit, I was playing on mid-ship one time, I jumped straight out of bluebase towards the ramp where the sword is, and threw a plasma at a guy I saw up there, then landed it exploded by him and his friend so I got a double kill then took out the other two guys on their team. (It was a modified version of Swat I play, grenades and shotties are added in to the normal weapons set.) I was in heaven. Sorry, just had to brag.

That still doesn't beat the Killfrenzy I got in matchmaking.. I'm not even sure how I got it, I was so far in the zone.. grenades were flying, bullets were being lodged in heads, and melee's were being launched with bone crushing ferocity. I remember being killed by the 6th guy yelling 'Holy fuck that guy just got a KILLFRENZY!'

Yeah, my favorite stick of all time was on MidShip. We were playing CTF Classic, and the guy had ran along the top of the platform with the two tunnels (Leads to the sword platform, has an explosive recharger thingy on top) and he disappeared into the second tunnel as I spawned. I saw him, tossed a grenade at the other end, and waited. He popped out, the grenade adhered to his head, and he disappeared in a cloud of blood and plasma.

The flag was recovered and we won the game 3 - 1.

I remember one time on Burial Mounds on a CTF match, like all of my team members had left, and it was me against a team of 4.

The whole game was about to end, maybe 1 minute or so till the end, and all 4 decided to charge me. They went through the tunnel leading in behind the fortified ruins, and I was dual-wielding a plasma rifle and a SMG.

The next minute was a blur. I somehow, without dying, managed to slaughter all of them before the round ended, resulting in whatever it is when you get 4 kills really fast (don't remember what), plus a victory for them on account of the fact my team sucked. Still, they were good sports and congratulated me for brave enough to stay and fight, and stupid enough to attack them.

I honestly suck at Halo, but I do have random spurts of godlike skill for some reason. Btw, we're off-topic.

Those halls on the side that lead from the top to the bottom I came in on top of the ramp they were gathered at the bottom. I supirsed them with a frag grenade and rained rounds down on them. I told you GameInformer, I wouldn't bet Bungie would have anything on the web yet because its still a few years off, so there would be nothing I could offer as proof, but the idea is there.

And as far as the Forerunner thing is concered. Yes. GameInformer ran a story on it in a past issue. The instances surrounding the article was that, 1) Halo3 was not annouced. 2) Bungie did not want it called Halo3, they wanted it called Forerunner, or something similar, but they acknowledged the fact that some where Halo3 would be slapped onto it. 3) The writer of the article had a tour around bungie's office and saw MC on a computer, and also saw forerunner on a screen. 4) The author of the article also said that Forerunner was most likely a codename.

And as far as anyone else is concerned, I welcome information, hey if you know something let me know. But this is what I read, and at the time of reading it was true. The world is always changing. A Static world is a dead world.
