RCP crashes

everyonce in a while get this message that RPC has been terminated and it will have to restart giving and i was wondering how would i be able fix it from terminating

1) Virus/Spyware scans might be a good idea, just in case.

2) Start >> Run >> type "msconfig" and go to the startup tab. -uncheck the process that forces your computer to restart. This will prevent it from coming back when you turn on your computer again.

i dunno what it is and i got no viruses using Shaw Secure

As a precaution, I would try Spy Sweeper (http://www.webroot.com/consumer/products/spysweeper/) (30 day free trial) just to make sure. If it doesn't find anything, then I'm convinced your computer is spyware free =P

You could also try googling the process name that keeps crashing to get more info on what it is and what might be causing the problem.
