WC Cinamatics

Hi good people in the WarCraft section, does anyone know how to view cinamatics in the mpq just like in StarCraft?

Hey Kismet, topics related to this sort of thing go in the Forge. But it's very complicated. I can imagine this thread will be moved before long! Don't want to step in the Warcraft Town Hall too long, though, you'll get your hand bitten off.

Nah, it's simply the people who are 'even more friendlier' that in the SC sections. ;)

Back on topic... No, I don't know (read, never saw'em inside the *mpq's), but I do know of way of'em playing with text legends on though. :)

Warcraft Cinematics are not in War*.MPQ files, In ur Warcraft folder, you have abother Movies section! In there the In Game movies are stored in MPQ format.
But those are plain AVI files! Open one of 'em with Windows Media Player 9 or later version.
They will play.

Talking about Map Cinematics in Campaigns? (Jaina's Meeting or Outland Finale? They are plain maps hidden in War3*.mpq files named *interlude.w3m/x files.)

I wanted to make Cine's like "Fury" or "The Vision", Sad I don't really have potential of making a Cine!

I have a question about the in-game cinamatic, where Illidian gets slashed by Arthas in last level. Was that just a movie inside the game? Does anyone know how to do that?

Well, I could not Crack that one.. Sorry...! But yes, I know that entire Cine is only One entire model!
