Has anyone been watcing the NBA finals, with heat being down 2-0 they come back to tie the series 2-2 ( for those who don't know u play first to 4 games )
What do you think will happen and who do you think will win, and what about Shaq hitting 2 clutch free-throws when he can't hit the broad side of a barn usually, then Dirk missing 1 of his 2 when his team is down 2 points, making 1 to be within 1, then missing the other and practically letting the wind out of teir sails, if he makes that I think the game turns out totally different. Dwayne Wade has prety much carried the Heat through the last 2 games, even thought Heats win was pretty impressive in game 4, having a 20 point lea with 6 minutes left in the game.? What do you guys think about this and who do you think will win?

The Mavs are a great team and Detroit's success over the last couple years has shown the NBA that you can be a championship team without having a standout superstar. I think a lot of people have lost faith in the NBA because of how much emphasis is placed on the individual talents. If the Heat take the trophy it will only continue this attitude. I would like to see Dallas win the series.

No matter which team wins, it will be that teams first ever championship win. Neither has been to the championship before.
What really irks me is that Stackhouse is suspended for Game 5 because he knocked Shaq down. If that was a flagrant foul penalty 2, when Shaq creamed Stackhouse in Game 1 and busted his nose, that should have gotten a little more than just a normal foul. "Unecessary contact"? Tell that to Shaq's elbows, which have made love to many Dallas players' faces throughout the series.

Yeah but come on Modred, remember Shaq is so huge everytime someone knocks him down they gotta call a crane out there to lift him back up. :)

Miami won 101 - 100 in overtime.
They went into overtime what, 93-93? Then went back and forth throughout overtime until it was 100-99, Dallas - Miami. On Miami's final run to the basket, Wade was fouled, giving them the chance to take the lead. After Wade tied the game with his first FT, one of the Dallas players wasted their last timeout (the clock was already stopped, Wade's shooting FTs...), which prevented them from moving the ball to half-court after regaining posession. So after Wade sunk his second FT and put Miami in the lead, it was a very long shot for Dallas. The ball was thrown inbounds with 1.9 left on the clock and I believe it was Jet who made a long throw from half court that bounced off the back of the rim.

Miami wins 95-92 and get their first ever championship. The last minute of play was good. Dallas had a chance to tie but they missed the three pointer.

My precious Suns lost after a year of exceptional play. Dork Davinski must die.

Dude, get a grip. That's been weeks ago. Quit complaining like a whiny little brat.
Well, I certainly didn't think Dallas would lose hold on the series quite like they did, and tonights game seemed to be in their pocket. A decent lead, a high number of steals, and a better FG percentage earlier in the game than they showed for the last couple. But alas, some things just didn't fall right for them -- as in, most of their shots in the 2nd half.
But dang, Morning is one heck of a player. His excellent defense undoubtedly contributed as much or more to Miami's win than Wade's FT shooting.
