Use the file to extend the world editor
It's an edited slk file that shows all of what you can edit in units and items
plus a little extra like hiding the hero death message.

with an mpq editor, put this file in a folder called "Units" in your map
or, open up war3.mpq and do the same for a permenant effect

can you hide hero glows in it? or do you have to remove it from the model itself?

It's difficult to remove hero glow from hero models, still if you have Magos Model editor and Vertex Modifier, it is easy to edit the models ( I recommend Y's MDL converter for MDX to MDL, cause Magos's editor sometimes messes up the attackments!)
