Team Project: Doom Dragoon for Terran

I've mostly made a custom like the Doom Dragoon custom, but for Terran this time.

First, I'll need your feedback, because I know this custom is anywhere near as cool as the Doom Dragoon one. But since I'm at school, I can't post the custom... I'll post it later.

Anyway, I was going to rename everything as well. Here's are the renames I've already come up with:

I wanna be in it! What should I be... Ultralisks scream a lot... I wanna be an ultralisk! Perhaps you could replace the ultralisk's attack with some sort of an air only attack, and give it the ability to build infested terrans as its ground attack?

If the custom is Terran only, then I want to be a tank that builds valks for its air attack, but I'd prefer being an ultra.

Actually, it would be cool if I were an ultralisk with the guardian attack (applies to air and ground. It does 15 damage with splash and has a pretty short range. [less than an upgraded marine] It's basically a backup weapon) and if I could build normal eggs that would eventually hatch into an infested terran, or those air eggs (like what a muta turns into when it wants to become a guardian or dev) which would eventually hatch to become a scourge. These two units are my main weapons, I can control them too. They're not like the interceptors on a carrier.

That green gooey slowdown spell the queen has would seem a logical spell for the Ultra Edvard Munchlisk as well. Slow 'em down so my suicide units can take them out.

You can be any unit you want in the entire game. But you have to have a sort of relationship to that unit, so people will go 'DarkTerror is an egg' and go 'YES! Of course!' or 'AJ is an SCV! Of course, he builds and fixes things!'

I've decided Shinitenshi is now going to be the ghost. Because he closes threads and you don't know what hit you, since he's not the type to write a 'thread closed because you're a moron' message.

Both the Infested Terran and Infested Kerrigan are going to be Schwitzer, because I can't find anyone else who fits those two characters perfectly. Even though it is unfair he gets two.

Edit: I'd look at all your other suggestions if time wasn't so constrained. I'm at school if you didn't know.

The patch isn't going to be a patch where units build other units and tanks fire strange things like guardian bullets... that's sort of what newbies do when they first make customs. I used to do it too, but I've been custom making for five years now...

Anyone can be in this patch, as any unit, Terran, Zerg or Protoss. It's just that the Terrans have cool effects and weapons. The other two are just normal.

I want to be something, too. I would like to be a protoss unit, but for Terran, hmm... There aren't really any units I can relate to me. Damn... Maybe I can take an upgrade. Such as, Zackarotto's Eyes for the occular implants. I don't have above average vision though... It's perfect, but nothing special. Are there any speed upgrades that the Terrans have?

Edit: I didn't see what you said up there... I don't care for special powers, I'd rather be a Protoss unit if I can. Hmm... I love to screw with people's minds, so is the dark archon taken?

Edit: I don't quite think that would work, though. I'd probably just run off the side of the screen faster than the upgraded observer in the protoss mod.

Instead of needle spines, throw me in for an attack that shoots a vulture shot, then when it hits, explodes like an EMP gun, and do minor splash. That would be shweet ^.^

I just had an idea! Why not have a new unit that is actually just graphics, listing the credits. All would have to do is save the frames and put them in. (I'm going to try to do this in my mod)

Hmmm... I can't think of many fun things to do with the Zerg... I don't usually do strange things like give hydras missiles, because I've been there, done that, about five years ago... I like really cool graphic effects, like that Zealot rage attack from the Doom Dragoon patch. I could try an Ultralisk rage attack, what do you think?

I wonder who's going to be the ultralisk...

The scourge is going to have a cool effect, and it will be loadable into overlords, so it can be launched like it's a missile sort of thing.

Maybe if I made the drones suicide bombers.

Rearrange the tech tree like I was going to do, and make them go like this:
Drone -> Defiler -> Queen(Makes Scourges)
Zergling -> Hydralisk -> Ultralisk(Makes Zerglings)
Overlord -> Mutalisk -> Guardian/Devourer

I really like giving strange units the spawn broodlings attack. And then I give the broodlings the spawn broodlings attack. It is so cool. I'm going to give the defiler the spawn broodlings attack, because it looks like a really big broodling itself.

I checked it out, it's awesome! The nukes alone justify playing this, it's a great visual. I also liked the scattering fire of the marines. It all seemed pretty much balanced, except for the wraith. Is that concussion damage? Because the wraith lasers seem more ineffective than usual.
I take it this isn't the same custom you're making for the "What unit are you?" thread, so are you just going to be adding to this custom for that thread, or are you making a whole new custom for that?

He uses a random pictures php script to get that effect. http://www.sig-x.com/ is a site that hosts picture sigs. It also offers a random picture script.

I think you should name Minerals Starcraft because its the most important thing in the game... You could name the gas Brood War since it gets you to better units etc. the next level... As for me, I'm more of a guy that pops up sometimes and other times... maybe a Kakaru?

Updates, yes. I can't remember if there's still a bug in it. Unfortunately, it seems my StarCraft CD doesn't seem to like my CD drive. Or maybe it's the other way round. Either way, I can't really test what I've done. I should upload the next version sometime. (why don't I have anymore time these days!!!)

I would like to request an appearance in the mod. Please make me the replacement of the hero-zergling (like I was gonna do last time). Small and annoying, that's me! And plus, being a lizrd-like creature (namely, the Zergling) would fit in with my current theme. GIve me a weird attack, though - something unusual, like Lockdown or Disruption Web. A weird attack works 'cause I'm weird. Maybe I'm requesting too much by being in both of your mods, but several other people are, so I'll just see what you think.

Actually, this is the same mod as in the other thread. Except, the other thread is for names and this is for the technical things about the mod.

But it seems my CD drive has broken on this computer, so I don't think it's possible for me to add more features than the ones already there, so I won't be able to implement any more changes. Not to mention, I don't have that much time either.
